Beschreibung

We spend so much of our lives working. 40 hours a week, people we see every day, tasks we repeat again and again. That is all that is part of our working life. And still… we often reduce it to one thing: Money. But work is never just about money. The work you do shapes your days, it creates your rhythm, and it also decides who you spend time with. Over time… it shapes who you become, because what you do consistently… becomes part of your identity. So… If you spend most of your time doing something that doesn’t feel aligned, it doesn’t just stay at work. It follows you into your energy and into your mindset. It shows up in the rest of your life. Sometimes, you simply need the job. Any job. Because what you need is income and the stability it brings. And that’s okay. Not every job you take needs to be your “dream.” But here’s the difference that will determine if you are using that job to build your sparkled-up life or not (regardless of whether the job can directly lead you to that future version of yourself). Are you choosing it consciously, or are you staying in it unconsciously? Because a job can be a means to an end, or it can become a place where you slowly lose yourself. The difference between the two is simply awareness. Knowing: What is this giving me?What is this costing me?And for how long is this the right place for me to be? Because even a job you don’t love… can have value. It can give you financial stability, or maybe access to people, skills, or opportunities. It can support something bigger you’re building. This, though, happens only if you stay intentional about it. As long as you remember that whatever you are doing right now is not the final destination. So, to take the power back into your hands and start creating your sparkled-up version of your life, start asking better questions. What does work mean to me?What do I want more of in my daily life? And where am I settling… just because it feels easier? Your life is shaped not only by what you dream about your future, but also by what you do every single day. And if most of that time is spent at work, then work is not just part of your life. It is a big part of how your life feels. So don’t ignore it or push it aside as you reach for a different version of your life. Understand it, question it and shape it just as intentionally as everything else, step by step. Life doesn’t become meaningful by accident, you know that already. SO just make it meaningful by choosing what you give your time to. With love,Anja ✨ This is a public episode. Episode Permission - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 59/90 Cover

Permission - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 59/90

So many dreams don’t actually fail. They just never get the chance to begin. It happens not because people aren’t capable, or not even because the opportunity doesn’t exist. It doesn´t happen because somewhere along the way, people convince themselves: “That’s not for me.”“I’m not ready yet.”“I’ll start later.” And later turns into next month, next year, someday. Meanwhile, what you want stays right where it is. Waiting for you. What makes this so difficult is that these thoughts rarely sound like fear. They sound reasonable, practical, and even responsible. They disguise themselves as logic. But underneath, there’s often something much simpler: not giving yourself permission to try, to be imperfect, to want more, to fail, or even to succeed. Trying means you might feel disappointed or find out something doesn’t work. But it also means you give yourself the chance to see what could work for you. And that’s the part we often forget. When you don’t try, yes, you protect yourself from failure. But you also close the door on possibilities that, over time, can become their own quiet kind of loss. The life you want is usually hidden behind actions that feel uncomfortable. For you, those uncomfortable things might be speaking up, starting, applying, creating, or sharing. And you don’t need to give yourself permission because you know you’ll succeed, but simply because you’re willing to find out what happens if you try. Sp: “What do you need to give yourself permission to do?” Is it the permission to be visible? To take up space? To dream bigger? To feel afraid and move anyway? Courage is rarely the absence of fear. More often, it’s the decision that fear doesn’t get the final vote. So what permission are you still waiting for? Who are you hoping will give it to you? And what might shift if you gave that permission to yourself, right here and right now? Your life doesn’t grow when someone else approves of it. It grows when you finally allow yourself to try. Episode It depends - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 58/90 Cover

It depends - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 58/90

We love certainty. The perfect routine, the best diet, the ideal career path, and also finding that one habit that will change everything. And when someone shares their answer with enough confidence,it’s easy to want to believe the.m. Certainty feels safe. Yet, life is rarely that simple. The older I get, the more I notice that one of the wisest answers is also one of the least satisfying: It depends. Not because it’s vague, but because it is actually honest. What works for one person might not work for another. What serves you today might not serve you next year. What felt true in one season of your life can become completely irrelevant in the next. That’s growth. Because context matters. Your personality matters. Just as your values matter. And your goals and circumstances matter as well. And yet, so many of us spend years trying to force ourselves into someone else’s formula. We follow advice that doesn’t fit. We adopt beliefs we never questioned. We carry rules that were created for a different version of ourselves. And then we wonder why something feels off. Here’s the invitation from me to you today: Start questioning. Not out of cynicism, but out of curiosity. Let yourself wonder. Questioning brings awareness. And awareness gives you the freedom to decide what is actually true for you. This doesn’t mean rejecting every piece of advice. Quite the opposite. It means listening, learning and experimenting. And after all that asking: Does this fit my life? Does this align with who I am? Does this help me become the person I want to be? Wisdom isn’t about collecting answers; it’s about learning which answers apply to you. Sometimes, the beliefs that need questioning aren’t the ones you learned yesterday. They’re the ones you’ve carried for years. The assumptions you’ve never revisited. The stories you’ve repeated so often that they started sounding like facts. And maybe some of them were true once. Life changes. You change. And what was true then may no longer be true. So today, instead of searching for the right answer, maybe ask yourself: “What does it depend on?”“What assumptions am I making?”“And what if there is more than one possible truth here?” Because your life becomes more aligned when you learn to think for yourself. Episode Hobbies - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 57/90 Cover

Hobbies - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 57/90

Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, it’s easy to let go of hobbies, simply because life gets so full. Work fills your calendar, responsibilities fill your evenings, and before you know it, the things you once did just for fun slip away. Things like sport, creative projects, or learning something new stop being essential to us. And yet… That might be exactly why they matter so much. Hobbies give us something that achievement often can’t. Play, curiosity or even joy without a specific outcome. The surprising thing is, a hobby rarely stays just a hobby. It’s a way to start learning again, to challenge yourself. You might even discover abilities you didn’t know you had. And then, you find others who enjoy the same thing, and a sense of community starts to grow. Suddenly, one small hobby begins to touch many parts of your life. Your confidence and creativity. Your consistency and relationships. And all of this can start with one simple decision: to spend an hour doing something you genuinely enjoy. Many people see hobbies as an option, something to do when there is extra time (if there is), and this is how they miss the power hobbies have. But often, hobbies create the very things we’re searching for. More energy and connection. More excitement and more meaning. Hobbies won’t solve everything, but they can remind you that life is about more than just productivity. Hobbies are all about exploration, following your curiosity simply because it interests you. They are about becoming a little more alive. And maybe that’s the real purpose of a hobby. Not to become the best, or to turn it into something productive (even though that might happen too). But simply to reconnect with the part of you that loves learning, creating, playing, and growing. So today, don’t ask: “What should I accomplish next?” Ask: “What am I curious about?”“What activity makes me lose track of time?”“And what hobby might bring a little more joy into my life?” Because your life doesn’t just grow through responsibility. Sometimes, it grows through the things you choose simply because you love them. With love,Anja ✨ This is a public episode. Episode Flexibility - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 56/90 Cover

Flexibility - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 56/90

We often talk about discipline, about consistency, about keeping those promises to yourself. I’ve shared about this before, and yes, these things truly do matter. They help you build trust in yourself, and they gently guide your life in the direction you want to go. But there’s a danger hidden in all of this: rigidity. When your structure never adapts, it can start working against you, especially as life shifts and your needs evolve. And if your rules can’t adapt, something eventually breaks. You breake. That’s why flexibility is not the opposite of discipline, but rather what makes discipline sustainable. The strongest trees bend in the wind. The buildings designed to survive earthquakes aren’t the most rigid ones. Rather, earthquake-proof buildings move and absorb pressure rather than resisting it completely. Your life works the same way. Sometimes, the most caring and responsible thing you can do is to break your own rules. And breaking your rules doesn’t mean you’re giving up on your bigger goal. This does not mean accidentally breaking a rule… (That can feel like failure and lead to guilt that breaks your follow-through action). But intentional flexibility (intentional rule-breaking) feels different. Because you choose it. You know why you’re doing it. You understand that you’re not abandoning the direction, and rather, you are simply adjusting the path. There is indeed a difference between quitting and recovering. A difference between avoidance and restoration. And learning that difference is one of the most valuable skills you can develop. Life is not a test of perfect consistency; instead, I see it as a practice of sustainable consistency. The kind that can handle difficult days, unexpected situations, and changing seasons of life. So here are your questions for today to make you think: “Which rules truly serve me?”“Where am I becoming too rigid?”“And how can I build a little more flexibility into my life, without losing direction?” Because your life flourishes when your structure is strong enough to guide you, and gentle enough to support you. Episode Ripple - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 55/90 Cover

Ripple - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 55/90

A conversation, a habit or a choice that seems insignificant in the moment can often start to shift something, even if you can’t see it yet. It touches something that influences, yet something else. Until suddenly, a door opens that you never even knew was there. Until one day, looking back, you realise that so much of your life began with something small. A class you decided to take, or maybe a person you decided to talk to. An opportunity you almost ignored. And before you know it, that tiny decision becomes part of your story. That’s the power of ripple effects. It’s so easy to overlook those small actions that can truly shift your life. You might catch yourself thinking that change needs to be dramatic or obvious. But most of the time, it happens quietly. Life shifts quietly, one honest decision at a time. The beautiful thing is that you can never fully predict where those ripples will lead. Here are just a few examples of ripples you might not see until you look back: You attend an event and meet someone new. You learn a skill and discover an opportunity. You take one step and suddenly find yourself on a path you never expected. That’s why taking action, even a small one, matters. Not because every step will change your life overnight, but because each one opens up something new. Every choice shapes what becomes possible next. This is especially important to remember in those moments when you feel stuck or powerless, when it seems like nothing is shifting, no matter how much you try. It’s easy to forget, in those moments, that you still have influence. You still have choices. You still have the ability to create a ripple, even if it feels small right now. Maybe your ripple feels tiny right now. But small is enough. Truly. Sometimes, that’s all it takes to begin. Ripples grow. And over time, those ripples build momentum and confidence. Often, you won’t even notice it while it’s happening. One day, you look back and realise you’re no longer the person who first began. So today, allow yourself to ask the questions: “What small ripple can I create today?”“What choice opens a new possibility?”“And what future version of me might be grateful that I started now?” Because life is shaped by the small ripples you create… the ones that keep moving long after you set them in motion.
