Infineon climbed as much as 5.3% - EasyJet shares rise as much as 5.9% to the highest level in a year after the UK budget airline rejected a fourth takeover bid from US investment firm Castlelake at 650p a share, saying the offer is “significantly undervaluing” the carrier. - 3i Group shares jump as much as 11%, the most since January, after the investment company revealed like-for-like growth at discount retailer Action, the single largest holding in its portfolio, accelerated over the last six weeks.
