Good morning! Here's your Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia surf zone forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service Jacksonville. We're waking up to moderate rip current conditions across the region today, so if you're planning to get in the water, be aware and stay smart out there. The rip current risk will remain moderate through tomorrow as well. For today, expect two to three foot surf along the Northeast Florida beaches, with conditions a bit smaller down in Southeast Georgia at one to two feet. The water temperature is sitting in the lower eighties up north and around eighty degrees down south, so pretty comfortable for a summer swim. The air will be mild too, with highs reaching the mid to upper eighties, becoming upper eighties by afternoon. The sky this morning is mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers mainly in the early hours, then we'll see partial sun break through as the day progresses. There's an extreme UV index in effect, so sunscreen is definitely your friend today. The wind will be coming from the southeast at ten to fifteen miles per hour, becoming east-southeast as we head into the afternoon. Looking at the tides, we've got low tides ranging from about ten in the morning with highs arriving in the late afternoon, so plan your beach day accordingly. Tomorrow Thursday is looking excellent! We're expecting mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper eighties up north and lower nineties down south. The surf will hold at two to three feet near the Northeast Florida beaches and one to two feet down in Georgia. Rip currents remain moderate, so again, those precautions are worth taking. The wind stays light out of the south in the morning, then turns southeast around fifteen miles per hour in the late afternoon. Down in Georgia, we could see heat indices climbing up to around one hundred, so stay hydrated if you're spending the day outside. Looking ahead to Friday through Sunday, conditions become more typical for early summer. Surf heights drop to one to two feet across the board. Friday and Saturday both look mostly sunny with a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, which is pretty normal for this time of year. Highs will be climbing into the lower to mid nineties. Winds stay light, primarily from the southwest. Sunday wraps up the extended period with partly sunny skies and another chance of those scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs reach around ninety degrees with light southwest winds continuing. So there you have it. Get out and enjoy these beautiful summer conditions, but remember to keep an eye out for those rip currents and slather on the sunscreen. Stay safe and have a great day at the beach! Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Beach Forecast Warm Water Thunderstorms Expected This Week Surf One to Two Feet

# Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia Surf Zone Forecast Well folks, if you're thinking about heading to the beach today, you better pack your patience along with your sunscreen because Mother Nature's got a mixed bag in store for us. Let's start with the good news. Conditions are staying nice and calm out there with surf heights hovering around one to two feet. That's great if you're looking for a mellow day in the water, but if you're hoping to catch some waves, you might want to temper your expectations. The rip current risk remains low across the board, though as always, stay extra cautious around those jetties, groins, and piers where conditions can get sketchy real fast. Now here's the thing that's going to make today interesting. We're looking at a high thunderstorm potential this afternoon, and I'm not talking about a light shower. Showers with thunderstorms are likely, so keep one eye on the sky at all times. When you see those clouds building, it's time to get out of the water. Seriously. And if you've got sensitive skin, slather on that sunscreen because the UV index is off the charts at extreme levels. The sun's got teeth today. Water temperatures are absolutely gorgeous, ranging from the upper seventies up to the low eighties depending on where you are. That's perfect for a comfortable swim. Air temperatures will peak around ninety degrees under mostly cloudy skies with northwest winds staying light at around ten miles per hour. Moving into Wednesday, the thunderstorm situation calms down a bit. We're looking at moderate thunderstorm potential with partly sunny skies and a chance of showers and thunderstorms rather than likely showers. That's an improvement. Surf stays the same at one to two feet, and rip current risk stays low. High temperatures will be in the upper eighties, though the heat index could climb up to around one hundred and one, so stay hydrated out there. Southwest winds pick up just slightly, still around ten miles per hour. Looking ahead to Thursday and into Juneteenth on Friday, we're back to likely thunderstorms with partly sunny conditions and highs in the lower nineties on Thursday and around ninety on Friday. Surf remains consistently small at one to two feet. By Saturday, things start to ease up a little bit with mostly cloudy skies and just a chance, rather than likely conditions, for showers and thunderstorms. Highs drop back into the upper eighties with northwest winds returning. Down in the Georgia zone, the story is pretty much the same. Today we've got that high thunderstorm potential with mostly cloudy skies and likely showers and thunderstorms. Surf is around one foot with low rip current risk. Water temperatures are a touch warmer, running eighty to eighty-five degrees. Highs reach into the upper eighties. Wednesday along the Georgia coast actually brings high thunderstorm potential, which is a notch above what we're seeing in Florida. Again, mostly cloudy with likely showers and thunderstorms. Surf nudges up to one to two feet and rip current risk stays low. Thursday through Saturday follows a similar pattern to what we're expecting across the state line with partly sunny to mostly cloudy conditions, scattered thunderstorms, and relatively consistent small surf. Bottom line: if you're heading to the beach this week, come for the warm water and calm waves, but be prepared for afternoon thunderstorms. Keep your phone charged, watch the weather, and always stay aware of conditions. This is a week for cautious beach enjoyment, not daring adventures. Stay safe out there. Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Surf Forecast Small Waves Thunderstorms Heat Index Upper Eighties

# Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia Surf Zone Forecast Well folks, here's your coastal outlook for the Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia beaches, and let me tell you, Mother Nature's got quite the mixed bag planned for us this week. Starting with today, we're looking at some pretty small surf out there, just one to two feet. Now, that's not going to thrill any experienced surfers, but it could be perfect if you're just getting started or looking for a mellow paddle out. The rip current risk is staying low, so that's good news for swimmers and surfers alike. But here's where things get interesting. We've got a high thunderstorm potential today, and I mean high. If you're heading out, make sure you're keeping one eye on the sky because showers and thunderstorms are likely to pop up, especially after three in the afternoon. The UV index is extreme, so slather on that sunscreen before you hit the water. Water temperatures are hanging out between seventy seven and eighty two degrees, which is pretty comfortable for most folks. Winds are light out of the west at around ten miles per hour, and highs will reach the upper eighties. Just be aware that heat index values could climb up to one hundred and six degrees, so stay hydrated out there. Moving to Wednesday, the surf is still going to be minimal at one to two feet, but now we're bumping up that rip current risk to moderate, so pay attention to those conditions if you're heading out. The thunderstorm potential is dropping to moderate, which is a bit better, and we're expecting mostly cloudy skies with just a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs again in the upper eighties, with heat index values around one hundred and five. Southwest winds around ten miles per hour will keep things breezy but manageable. As we look ahead to Thursday and Juneteenth, the pattern really starts to settle into a rhythm here. We're going to see partly sunny skies with showers and thunderstorms likely, highs pushing into the lower nineties, and those surf heights staying consistent at one to two feet. Saturday looks similar, though it'll be a bit more cloudy, with highs in the upper eighties and continued chances for storms. Now, if you're checking out the Georgia side of things, down at places like St. Simons Island and Brunswick, the forecast is pretty comparable today. Small surf, low rip current risk, but that same high thunderstorm potential and extreme UV index. Water temps are a touch warmer down there, between eighty and eighty five degrees. Heat indices are slightly lower too, maxing out around one hundred and three instead of one hundred and six. Wednesday through the weekend keeps that same general pattern going for Georgia beaches as well. Mostly low rip current risk, consistent one to two foot surf, and regular chances for afternoon and evening storms. Here's my bottom line for you: if you're planning any beach time this week, get out there early before the afternoon storms roll in. Stay aware of rip currents, especially around jetties and piers, even when the risk is listed as low. Protect that skin from the extreme UV, and most importantly, keep an eye on those skies. The good news is the waves are going to stay mellow all week, so it's a great time to enjoy the water without battling big surf. Just respect the weather and you'll have a great time out there. Episode Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Beach Forecast Heat Index Alert Dangerous Conditions Monday Through Wednesday Cover

Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Beach Forecast Heat Index Alert Dangerous Conditions Monday Through Wednesday

Well folks, gather round for your Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia beach forecast, brought to you on this sweltering Sunday afternoon in mid-June. Let's start with what's happening right now through this evening. The water's looking pretty inviting at 77 to 82 degrees, but the sky tells a different story. We're looking at mostly cloudy conditions with showers and thunderstorms likely to pop up. That extreme UV index means you'll want to keep that sunscreen handy if you venture out. Rip currents are staying low, and the surf is hanging tight at 1 to 2 feet. Winds are coming in light from the southwest around 10 miles per hour. Now here's the kicker – temperatures are climbing into the lower 90s, but that heat index? We're talking up to 100 degrees in Northeast Florida and 102 down in the Georgia areas. It's going to feel absolutely brutal out there. Now, let me give you the heads-up on Monday because things are ramping up in a big way. We're expecting mostly sunny skies until about 5 PM, then clouds roll back in with showers and thunderstorms likely sticking around. The rip current risk remains low, and surf stays at that 1 to 2-foot range. Here's where it gets serious though – temperatures in the mid-90s combined with that heat index pushing past 109 in Northeast Florida and hitting a sweltering 113 down in Georgia. That's dangerously hot out there, folks. You'll want to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if you're spending time on the beach. Looking ahead to Tuesday and beyond, we're tracking a pattern of partly to mostly cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms likely continuing throughout the week. Surf conditions remain consistent at 1 to 2 feet, so don't expect any swells to get excited about. Highs settle back into the upper 80s and mid-80s Tuesday through Wednesday before climbing back to around 90 by Thursday. One important reminder as we wrap this up – rip currents might be low risk overall, but they can still become life-threatening near groins, jetties, reefs, and piers. Always respect the ocean and watch for those telltale signs of narrow, fast-moving currents heading seaward. Stay safe out there, keep cool, and we'll see you at the beach. Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Surf Forecast Small Waves Rip Currents and Thunderstorms This Weekend

Hey everyone, welcome to your Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia surf zone forecast for this Saturday and beyond. Let's start with what's happening right now. We're looking at small waves, just one to two feet across the board, so don't expect anything dramatic in the lineup. But here's where it gets interesting: we've got a moderate risk of rip currents in effect for the Northeast Florida beaches, including Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Fernandina. That means life-threatening rip currents are definitely possible out there, so if you're heading out, stay sharp and know how to handle yourself. The water's sitting at a comfortable seventy-seven to eighty-two degrees, so at least you'll be warm. Weather-wise, expect partly sunny skies with a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing this afternoon. We're talking moderate thunderstorm potential here. It's going to be hot, too. Highs around ninety with heat index values climbing up to a hundred and two degrees. Winds are light, coming from the south around ten miles per hour. Over in Southeast Georgia around Brunswick and St. Simons, conditions are similar but just slightly different. Rip current risk there is actually low, so that's a bit better. Same small one to two foot surf, same warm water, same moderate thunderstorm threat. But down there, the heat index is going to be even more intense, potentially hitting a hundred and eight degrees. That's dangerous heat, folks. Stay hydrated. Now let's look ahead to Sunday. Things are ramping up. The thunderstorm potential jumps to high across both zones. We're expecting thunderstorms likely and additional showers throughout the day. The Northeast Florida beaches will still see that moderate rip current risk, while Southeast Georgia stays at low. Highs in the lower nineties with heat indices reaching up to a hundred and six in Northeast Florida and a hundred and seven down in Georgia. Winds stay light from the southwest. Moving into the extended period, Monday through Wednesday, we're looking at a consistent pattern. Surf stays at that one to two foot range. Thunderstorms and showers remain in the forecast each day as a frontal system slowly moves through. Temperatures gradually cool slightly midweek, dropping into the upper eighties by Wednesday. Winds remain light throughout. Bottom line: small, consistent waves with warm water make for decent conditions if you can time it between thunderstorms. Watch for those rip currents, especially up in Northeast Florida. Stay safe, stay hydrated in this oppressive heat, and we'll talk to you next time. Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Surf Forecast Saturday to Wednesday Small Waves Heat Alerts Rip Current Warnings

Good morning! Here's your surf zone forecast for Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia this Saturday through Wednesday. Starting with today, expect small one to two foot waves across the beaches, perfect for wading rather than surfing. A moderate risk of rip currents is in effect for the Northeast Florida beaches including Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Fernandina, so keep a close eye on the water if you venture in. The Georgia beaches are seeing a lower rip current threat, though swimmers should still exercise caution near any groins or jetties. The water temperature is a pleasant seventy-seven to eighty-two degrees, making for comfortable swimming conditions. Mostly sunny skies are expected this morning, but don't let that fool you. A moderate thunderstorm potential means afternoon showers and storms could pop up, especially around two o'clock. The UV index is cranking up to extreme levels, so sunscreen is absolutely essential if you're spending time outside. Highs will reach the lower nineties, but the heat index could climb to one hundred six in Northeast Florida and up to one hundred nine down in the Georgia zone. Winds will start light from the west before shifting southeast in the afternoon. Moving into Sunday, conditions remain fairly consistent. We're still looking at one to two foot surf with moderate rip currents continuing for Northeast Florida. Partly sunny skies give way to scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs again in the lower nineties with heat indices peaking at one hundred seven in Northeast Florida and an impressive one hundred ten near Brunswick and St. Simons. Southwest winds will be light, around five to ten miles per hour. As we head into the extended period Monday through Wednesday, expect more of the same summer pattern. Showers and thunderstorms remain likely each day as the heat and humidity continue to build. Surf stays small at one to two feet throughout. Temperatures begin easing slightly Tuesday and Wednesday, dropping into the upper eighties and mid eighties respectively. Winds will remain light from the southwest. If you're heading to the beach this weekend, stay hydrated, protect that skin from the intense UV, and be aware of rip currents, especially in Northeast Florida. The water looks inviting, but Mother Nature's throwing heat and afternoon storms into the mix. Stay safe out there! For more http://www.quietplease.ai Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOta
