Beschreibung

Today we’re tackling the modern lie that women should pursue men. God created women as his helper, not his hunter. This episode breaks down the manipulation behind men who now expect women to prove their worth before being chosen. From Adam’s assignment in the garden to Jacob’s labor for Rachel, the Word makes it clear: men were called to provide, protect, and pursue. If you’ve ever been told you need to “earn” the title of a wife, this one’s for you. Scriptures referenced: Genesis 2:15 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vQBiNTIE10&t=135s]–18 Genesis 29:20–30 Ruth 4:9–10 Proverbs 18:22 Ephesians 5:23–25

Episode How to Take Your Thoughts Captive When Your Mind Will Not Stop Spiraling | Biblical Tea Ep. 8 Cover

How to Take Your Thoughts Captive When Your Mind Will Not Stop Spiraling | Biblical Tea Ep. 8

The enemy does not need to destroy your circumstances if he can control your thoughts. In this episode of Biblical Tea we are getting into what it actually means to take your thoughts captive from 2 Corinthians 10:5. Not the church phrase version. The practical daily warfare version. We are talking about anxiety, overthinking, emotional spiraling, fear about money, replaying conversations, and the moments where your thoughts have taken you captive before you even realized it was happening. Scriptures covered include 2 Corinthians 10:5, Philippians 4:6 through 7, Romans 12:2, Proverbs 18:21, Jeremiah 17:9, Matthew 6:34, Psalms 23:1, and Hebrews 13:8. If your mind has felt more like a prison than a sanctuary lately this episode is for you. Biblical Tea. Sip. Study. Stay rooted.

Why I’m Celebrating Hanukkah as a Christian: The Biblical Tea Podcast Ep. 2 12.18.2025

The Biblical Tea Podcast Episode 2Like, Share, Subscribe! In today’s episode I explain why I’m choosing to observe Hanukkah this year, what the Bible says about copying the customs of other religions (Jeremiah 10; Deut 12), and the historic origins of December 25th. This episode is not about condemning Christmas, traditions, or people. Scripture is clear that each believer is led by conviction, not coercion (Romans 14). I am sharing my personal journey of study and conviction, not issuing commands to others.A few important notes for accuracy and context:• John 10:22–23 explicitly places Jesus in Jerusalem during Hanukkah (the Feast of Dedication). That is a biblical statement, not a personal interpretation.• Jeremiah 10:2–5 addresses ancient pagan idol practices involving carved wood and adornment. I am not claiming the passage “mentions Christmas trees by name,” but highlighting God’s repeated warning against adopting religious customs from surrounding nations without discernment (see also Deuteronomy 12:30–31).• December 25 is not given anywhere in Scripture as Jesus’ birth date. Historically, the date appears centuries later and overlaps with existing Roman solar observances. This is widely documented in church history and does not negate faith in Christ.• Hosea 4:6 speaks of spiritual destruction that comes from rejecting knowledge. My emphasis is on awareness and discernment, not fear or salvation by information. If your conviction leads you to celebrate differently, grace and peace to you. If your study leads you elsewhere, grace and peace to you also. Unity in Christ does not require uniformity in tradition.Let’s keep the conversation biblical, respectful, and rooted in love (Ephesians 4:15 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAdnbj6k1Pg&t=255s])
