Beschreibung

In week one we asked a simple question: Are you a disciple of Jesus? Now, after walking through what a disciple actually looks like, we ask it again—but this time, it’s not theoretical. In this message, we confront a hard reality: everyone is being formed by something. The question is whether we are being intentionally formed by Jesus or unintentionally shaped by culture. Looking at Romans 12 and Acts 2, we see that discipleship doesn’t happen by accident. Conformity is the default—but transformation requires a decision. What we give our attention to is what forms us, and in a world driven by distraction and algorithms, that matters more than ever. This isn’t about trying harder or performing better. It’s about surrender, intentionality, and allowing the Holy Spirit to do the transforming work in us. At some point, discipleship stops being an invitation… and becomes a decision. Am I actually a disciple of Jesus?   From Sunday 04.27.26

Episode Healing (Everyday Distinctives) Cover

Healing (Everyday Distinctives)

What does it really mean to be healed? In this Father’s Day message, Pastor Randy continues the Everyday Distinctives series by unpacking the second distinctive of Everyday Church: Healing. Far beyond physical recovery, Scripture presents healing as wholeness — spirit, soul, and body. Through the Greek word sozo, we discover that the same word often translated “saved” is also translated “healed,” revealing God’s desire not only to forgive us, but to restore every broken part of our lives. Drawing from Mark 5, Romans 12, and the story of the woman with the issue of blood, this message explores why healing begins with honesty, how hidden wounds impact families for generations, and why pursuing personal wholeness may be one of the most loving things a husband, father, or parent can do. Healing isn’t a department. It’s a culture. And as God heals us, He invites us to become safe places where others can find healing too. Healed people help heal people. From Sunday 06.21.26

Episode Worship (Everyday Distinctives) Cover

Worship (Everyday Distinctives)

In this message, Pastor Randy introduces the first of Everyday Church’s five Distinctives: Worship. What if worship is bigger than music? Bigger than a Sunday service? Bigger than a moment of emotion or an experience at the altar? As Everyday Church continues to unpack its vision and culture, this message explores why worship has been a defining mark of the church from the very beginning—and why God may be calling His people into something deeper than performance, preference, or attendance. Drawing from 2 Kings 3, Romans 12, and the story of the early church, Pastor Randy examines the tension between musical worship and a life of worship. He discusses the role of the Holy Spirit, the importance of both anointing and formation, and the danger of reducing worship to something we consume rather than something we become. The invitation is simple but challenging: not merely to attend worship, but to offer our entire lives to God as a living sacrifice. Because Jesus didn’t die so we could be entertained by worship. He died so we could become worship.   From Sunday 06.14.26

Episode The Armor of God (Luis Aran) Cover

The Armor of God (Luis Aran)

In this message, guest speaker Luis Aran walks through Paul’s teaching on the Armor of God and reminds us that spiritual battles require spiritual preparation. Drawing from his years as a law enforcement officer, Luis compares the armor of God to the equipment and tools officers carry every day—each piece serving a specific purpose and none of it optional. Just as a police officer would never go into a dangerous situation without the proper gear, followers of Jesus are called to put on the full armor of God. From the belt of truth to the sword of the Spirit, every piece equips us to stand firm against the challenges, temptations, and attacks we face in everyday life. This practical and encouraging message will challenge you to examine whether you are spiritually prepared for the battles ahead and remind you that God has already provided everything you need to stand strong.   From Sunday 06.14.26

Episode Pentecost Sunday (More Than a Moment) Cover

Pentecost Sunday (More Than a Moment)

Pentecost Sunday isn’t just about Acts 2, speaking in tongues, or a moment in church history. It’s about the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer and the life of the Church. In this message, Pastor Randy walks through the history and meaning of Pentecost, from Mount Sinai and the Feast of Weeks to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. Along the way, he wrestles honestly with modern church culture, discipleship, spiritual formation, discernment, and the difference between hype and genuine transformation. What happens when we pursue encounter without formation? What does it mean to be truly dependent on the Holy Spirit? And how do we avoid settling for the appearance of power while missing the real thing? This message is both deeply personal and deeply challenging — a call back to authentic dependence on the Holy Spirit, real discipleship, and lives fully surrendered to Jesus. From Sunday 05.24.27
