Hello and welcome to Episode 5 of the Foundations of the Ascended Master path. In our last episode, we talked about awakening the Christ within and how harmony, love, prayer, and self-mastery help us draw closer to our Higher Self. Today, we’re going to explore one of the most important teachings of the Ascended Master Path: What is the relationship between the Christ Self and the I AM Presence? This teaching can sound abstract at first, but once you begin to understand it, many of the mysteries of life suddenly start making sense. And if you look at the Chart of Your Divine Self in the text, that visual may help you follow along as we walk through it together. The Ascended Masters teach that we are much more than the outer personality we experience every day. Most people identify themselves almost entirely with the human self: our emotions, our thoughts, our memories, our problems, our successes and failures. But that outer personality is not the fullness of who you are. Behind the human self is a far greater spiritual reality. So let’s explore this together. When God appeared to Moses on Mount Sanai in the burning bush that was not consumed, he revealed his name. He told Moses to tell the people that ‘I AM that I AM’ sent him. He went on to say, “This is my name forever, and this is my memorial from generation to generation.” [Exodus 3:14-15] That was not just a name. It was a revelation of Being itself. The words “I AM” are sacred because they express the self-awareness of God individualized. Human beings are unique on earth in that we possess self-awareness. We can say, “I AM.” Animals have intelligence and instinct, but they do not stop and contemplate their existence in the same way humanity does. They do not consciously choose to transform themselves spiritually. That self-awareness reflects something extraordinary. We were created in the image and likeness of God. The Ascended Masters teach that each of us has an individualized Presence of God called the I AM Presence. This Presence is the highest part of your being — your Divine Source, your eternal identity in God, literally God within you. In the chart, the upper figure represents the I AM Presence. It is not separate from God. It is God individualized as you. Perfect, pure, whole and untouched by fear, limitation, disease, aging, or death. The I AM Presence, the part of you made in the image and likeness of God, always holds the perfect pattern for your soul. Now beneath the Presence, you see a stream of light descending. This is sometimes called the silver cord or crystal cord. It is the flow of life itself — the energy of God continually flowing into your being—the energy that keeps you alive. And as long as this connection remains, you live in the physical world. When it is withdrawn, what we call death, your soul moves on to other dimensions of life. Anchored within your heart is the Divine spark of that Presence. The Ascended Masters describe this spark as the threefold flame — the flame of Power, Wisdom, and Love. Now surrounding the I AM Presence are concentric spheres of colored light. This is called the Causal Body, and you can think of it as your spiritual treasury or your “bank account in heaven.” Every act of love, every victory over fear, every selfless deed, every moment of compassion and spiritual attainment creates momentum in these spheres of light. Nothing constructive is ever lost. All positive energy qualified with love and harmony rises into this treasury of light and remains part of your eternal attainment. But energy used destructively does not rise. It becomes what we call karma — energy that must eventually be balanced and transformed so that the energy that was misused is free to also rise to the Causal Body. Now between the I AM Presence and the human self is the most important bridge of all, your Holy Christ Self. The middle figure in the chart represents this Christ Self. This is the individualized expression of the Universal Christ within you. It is your true spiritual identity — the Real Self you are becoming. Jesus fully embodied this Christ Self. That is why we refer to him as Jesus the Christ. Christ is not a last name. It is a state of divine realization and union. The Christ Self is one with God, yet it is also able to work directly with the soul evolving on earth. This is why the Christ Self serves as mediator between the human personality and the I AM Presence. Scripture tells us: “There is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” [1 Timothy 2:5] The Ascended Master understanding, of course, describes the the Christ indwelling within each child of God just as it was in Christ Jesus. The difference, of course, is that Jesus was one with His Christ Self and we are striving to achieve that same oneness. The unique aspect of the Christ Self is that can behold both the divine perfection of the I AM Presence and human imperfection simultaneously. That is why it is called the Mediator. Your I AM Presence can only behold perfection because it is literally God within you, manifested as the Divine Spark within your heart. Your Holy Christ Self, also known as your Higher Mental Body and by other names in other religions, acts as teacher, guide, protector, and inner spiritual mentor. It is called the Higher Mental Body because it carries the mind of God for your individual soul. When intuition suddenly speaks clearly. when wisdom interrupts anger, when you feel lifted above fear, when love replaces judgment, you are often experiencing the influence of your Christ Self. Now something very important happened in humanity’s spiritual history. The Ascended Masters teach that in what is called “the Fall,” human consciousness descended below the vibration of the Christ consciousness. The soul became increasingly identified with separation and fear, ego, and discord. Your Christ Self did not disappear. It became separated in consciousness from your outer personality. The spiritual path is the journey back into reunion. This is why Jesus said: “The kingdom of heaven is within you.” He was pointing humanity back toward this inner reality. The purpose of life is not merely survival. It is not simply morality. It is not just outer religion. The purpose of life is reunion, first with your Holy Christ Self and ultimately in the final reunion with your I AM Presence in the ritual of the ascension. This changes how we understand spiritual growth. You are not trying to become worthy of God someday. You are learning to align with the divine reality that already exists within you. Every loving thought strengthens that alignment. Every prayer opens the flow. Every act of forgiveness clears the channel. Every decree, affirmation, meditation, and act of self-mastery allows more light from your Presence to descend into your daily life. The goal is not to escape the world. The goal is to anchor more of God into the world through you. Gradually, the soul identifies less with fear and limitation and more with the Christ Self. And eventually, at the conclusion of the path, the soul reunites fully with the I AM Presence in the ascension. This is the great destiny held within every son and daughter of God. In our next episode, we’ll begin exploring another important question. Why do we reincarnate, and did Jesus actually teach it? I will also introduce a series that will help to make all of this teaching thus far practical in your everyday life. Until then, remember this: Your I AM Presence is not distant from you. Your Christ Self is not unreachable. The light of God is already within you — patiently waiting for your recognition, your cooperation, and your love. Take the time to commune with God within you and see how your life transforms. ________________________ Next Free Live Event - Join Us! Episode Faith as Scientific Understanding Cover

Faith as Scientific Understanding

“Faith becomes powerful when it becomes experience.” Many people think faith means believing without evidence. But authentic spiritual faith is not blind. It is experiential. True faith grows through participation. Every time we choose courage instead of fear, faith grows. Every time peace appears during difficulty, faith grows. Every time life responds to conscious alignment, faith grows. Faith is strengthened by lived encounter. This is why borrowed belief eventually becomes insufficient. At some point every soul must discover truth personally. Not because teachers are unnecessary. Not because wisdom traditions lack value. But because consciousness transforms most deeply through direct realization. A person who has experienced even one moment of genuine inner peace understands something intellectually unreachable. Experience changes conviction. The spiritual path becomes stable when truth moves from theory into embodiment. This is also why fear weakens faith. Fear narrows perception. Fear keeps attention fixed on limitation. Faith expands perception. Faith allows the soul to recognize possibilities beyond immediate appearances. This does not mean denying difficulty. It means refusing to worship difficulty. Many people unknowingly place more faith in fear than in possibility. They rehearse worst-case scenarios repeatedly until limitation feels inevitable. But consciousness responds differently when rooted in trust. Not naïve optimism. Not denial. But deep inner knowing that life contains intelligence greater than temporary confusion. Faith is not passivity. It is alignment. It is the willingness to continue moving toward truth even when certainty has not fully appeared. The soul becomes stronger every time it practices trust. Today, consider this: What if faith is not asking you to ignore reality… but to perceive a larger reality than fear alone can see? Sometimes a single teaching, insight, or moment of inspiration can change a life forever. Thank you for helping us continue this work. Episode The Law Works Cover

The Law Works

“The universe responds to lawful consciousness.” Many people secretly believe life is random. That peace arrives accidentally. That growth happens mysteriously. That transformation belongs only to the fortunate. But throughout the great spiritual traditions there appears a different understanding: Life operates according to law. Not punishment. Not rigid control. But lawful relationship. Just as physical laws govern the material world, spiritual laws govern consciousness. Attention shapes experience. Love expands life. Fear contracts it. Repetition strengthens patterns. Gratitude changes perception. Compassion opens the heart. The soul gradually becomes what it consistently aligns with. This is empowering because it means growth is not merely wishful thinking. Transformation becomes possible through conscious participation. Many people wait passively for change. But spiritual law invites cooperation. We begin asking: * What am I cultivating? * What am I strengthening? * What atmosphere am I living inside? * What patterns am I reinforcing daily? These questions matter because consciousness itself is creative. The spiritual journey is not about manipulating the universe. It is about aligning with truth deeply enough that life begins flowing differently. The beautiful thing about spiritual law is that it is not reserved for the spiritually elite. Every human being participates in it constantly. Every thought contributes. Every action contributes. Every emotional atmosphere contributes. When we begin understanding this, we stop living carelessly. We realize: * our inner life matters, * our words matter, * our reactions matter, * and our attention matters. This awareness creates responsibility. But it also creates hope. Because if destructive patterns can be created lawfully… then healing can also be created lawfully. Peace is not fantasy. Compassion is not weakness. Transformation is not impossible. The universe is far more responsive than most people realize. Today, instead of asking life to change magically, ask: “What laws of consciousness am I already participating in every day?” And then ask: “What would happen if I began aligning more intentionally with truth, peace, and love?” Thank you for being part of a growing community of people seeking deeper truth, higher consciousness, and a more spiritually awakened world. Episode Inter-Soul Relationships Cover

Inter-Soul Relationships

“The soul recognizes the soul.” Human beings are not meant to awaken alone. One of the deepest longings within the human heart is the longing to truly be seen. Not admired. Not evaluated. Not used. But seen. There are moments in life when another person’s presence changes us. Sometimes through kindness. Sometimes through understanding. Sometimes through simply reminding us that we are not alone. The soul responds to genuine connection because love itself is connective. The spiritual path is often misunderstood as isolation. But authentic awakening deepens our capacity for relationship. Not superficial relationship. Not transactional relationship. But soul relationship. These relationships are marked by: * sincerity, * encouragement, * honesty, * compassion, * mutual growth, * and reverence for one another’s becoming. The world frequently teaches competition. The soul longs for communion. One conscious friendship can change the direction of an entire life. One person who believes in us during dark seasons can help preserve hope. One compassionate conversation can restore strength. One act of understanding can interrupt despair. This is why love carries transformative power. Not sentimental love. But awakened love. The kind of love that sees possibility where fear sees limitation. Many people spend years protecting themselves emotionally because they fear disappointment. But isolation slowly weakens the heart. The soul blossoms in truthful connection. This does not mean every relationship is healthy. Discernment remains essential. But it does mean that sacred companionship is part of spiritual growth. The awakened life is not merely about personal enlightenment. It is about learning how to become light within relationship itself. Today, reflect upon the people who strengthen your soul. And ask yourself: “How can I become a more conscious source of encouragement, presence, and compassion within the lives of others?” That question alone can deepen the sacredness of human connection. Episode Alienation From Life Cover

Alienation From Life

“Alienation begins when sensitivity disappears.” One of the quiet tragedies of modern life is emotional numbness. People become disconnected. Disconnected from themselves. Disconnected from one another. Disconnected from nature. Disconnected from meaning. Disconnected from compassion. Over time this disconnection becomes normalized. Human beings begin moving through life overstimulated yet emotionally absent. We consume endless information while starving inwardly. We speak constantly while rarely listening deeply. We surround ourselves with noise while losing contact with silence. The soul slowly becomes exhausted. Alienation is not merely loneliness. It is separation from living connection. A person can be surrounded by people and still feel profoundly disconnected from life. One of the dangers of emotional numbness is that suffering eventually stops shocking us. We begin adapting to: * violence, * cruelty, * division, * anxiety, * and emotional fragmentation. The extraordinary becomes ordinary. The heart was not created for this. Human beings were meant to feel deeply. To respond deeply. To care deeply. Sensitivity is not weakness. It is evidence that the soul is alive. The spiritual path is not about becoming emotionally cold or detached from humanity. It is about becoming more conscious, more compassionate, and more awake. The danger of alienation is that people eventually begin protecting themselves from feeling altogether. But the same walls that block pain also block love. Healing begins when we slowly become willing to feel life again. To notice beauty. To notice suffering. To notice wonder. To notice each other. The awakened heart remains sensitive without becoming consumed. This balance is sacred. Today, pause long enough to ask yourself: “What have I become emotionally numb to?” And then ask: “What would it mean to become fully alive again?” We believe every soul carries a divine spark and a higher purpose. Our mission is to help awaken that awareness in practical and meaningful ways. Episode The Habit of Survival Cover

The Habit of Survival

“The soul was meant to survive more than circumstance.” There are moments in life when survival becomes sacred. Not survival in the shallow sense of merely continuing physically. But survival of consciousness. Survival of hope. Survival of identity. Survival of the inner flame. Almost every human being eventually encounters periods where life feels overwhelming. Loss. Illness. Fear. Loneliness. Failure. Confusion. Disappointment. During such seasons something profound is revealed: What do we do when life becomes difficult? Some people collapse inward. Some become bitter. Some abandon themselves. Some disconnect emotionally. And some quietly discover a deeper strength than they knew existed. This strength is not aggression. It is endurance. The soul contains a remarkable capacity to rise. Again and again throughout history humanity has survived impossible circumstances through: * faith, * resilience, * inner vision, * love, * and refusal to surrender meaning. The spiritual journey does not remove all difficulty. But it can transform the way we move through difficulty. A conscious soul learns that pain does not automatically define destiny. Sometimes the greatest breakthroughs emerge from the very moments where life seemed darkest. Not because suffering itself is holy. But because pressure can reveal hidden strength. Many people underestimate themselves. They assume they are fragile until life calls forth courage they did not know they possessed. The soul becomes stronger every time it refuses complete defeat. Every time we rise again after disappointment. Every time we choose hope instead of despair. Every time we continue loving after heartbreak. Every time we continue seeking truth after confusion. The spiritual path is not about becoming untouched by difficulty. It is about discovering what remains alive within us despite difficulty. This is why perseverance matters so deeply. Not stubbornness. Not denial. But sacred endurance. Today, remember this: You have survived things you once believed would destroy you. And perhaps hidden within your struggle there already exists a strength still waiting to be fully recognized. Spiritual awakening is not about escaping life—it is about transforming life from within. Help us continue sharing that message with others.
