Have you ever stopped to ask yourself why you wanted to lose weight in the first place? In this personal solo episode of The Move With Ease Podcast, Tatianna reflects on her own journey with health, fitness, body image, and the evolution of what success means. Like many women growing up in the 90s and early 2000s, she spent years chasing smaller jeans, lower numbers on the scale, and goals like "lose 10 pounds." She even bought clothes that were too small, convinced she'd fit into them someday. But over time, something shifted. Through running, yoga, mindfulness, motherhood, and learning to truly listen to her body, Tatianna discovered that what she was really searching for wasn't a smaller body at all. It was confidence. Freedom. Strength. Community. And the feeling of being at home in her own skin. In this episode, she shares: * how dieting and weight-focused goals shaped her early years * the surprising lessons she learned through sport and running * why community became more powerful than the scale * how yoga and mindfulness changed her relationship with her body * the shift from aesthetics to longevity * why strength, muscle, bone health, and resilience matter more than ever in our 40s and beyond * and the question that completely changed how she approaches health today This conversation is an invitation to reflect on your own journey and ask: ✨ What am I really chasing? ✨ What do I want my body to be able to do? ✨ Have my health goals evolved? Because perhaps the goal was never a smaller body. Perhaps the goal was always confidence, vitality, freedom, and feeling strong enough to fully participate in your life. Topics discussed: * body image * weight loss culture * confidence and self-worth * running and fitness * motherhood * yoga and mindfulness * healthy aging * strength training * longevity * women's health in midlife * redefining success * identity and health If this episode resonates with you, I'd love to hear from you. Have your goals evolved over the years? Are you noticing a shift from chasing a number on the scale toward building strength, confidence, and longevity? Episode Episode 42: Which Voice Are You Listening To? Cover

Episode 42: Which Voice Are You Listening To?

Which Voice Are You Listening To? How to Know When to Trust Your Body and When to Keep Going Which voice are you listening to? Is it your body? Is it fear? Is it comfort? Or is it the future version of yourself quietly reminding you who you're becoming? This question came to me during a morning run when I almost stopped 20 minutes early. Nothing was wrong—I was simply close to home, and it would have been easy to call it a day. That moment led me to a much bigger realization. As a physiotherapist, I often encourage people to "listen to their bodies." But over the years, I've realized that not every voice inside us is actually our body speaking. Sometimes it's fear. Sometimes it's habit. Sometimes it's convenience. And sometimes it's the future version of ourselves gently calling us forward. In this episode, I share the story from my run, along with two client stories that beautifully illustrate how learning to pause and ask better questions can completely change the decisions we make about our health. In this episode, you'll discover: • Why listening to your body isn't always as straightforward as it sounds. • How fear can sound like your body. • Why uncovering your deeper "why" can transform your health habits. • The difference between protecting your body and supporting it. • A simple mindset shift to help you build greater self-trust. Whether you're trying to return to running, navigate an injury, build healthier habits, or simply reconnect with yourself, this episode is an invitation to slow down, get curious, and ask one powerful question before making your next health decision: Which voice am I listening to? Because the goal isn't to always push through. And it isn't to always stop. The goal is learning to recognize who's really doing the talking. ✨ Free Resources & Links 🎙 Subscribe to the Move With Ease Podcast so you never miss an episode. 📲 Connect with me on Instagram: @tatiannagrahaminc [https://www.instagram.com/tatiannagrahaminc] 🌿 Download my free guide: 3 Foundational Shifts [https://pages.tatiannagraham.com/3foundationalshifts-951772] Book a call with me (complimentary) and let's go over your health goals! Episode Episode 41: Beyond Fertility - What Your Body Is Trying to Tell You with Dr. Marina Straszak-Suri Cover

Episode 41: Beyond Fertility - What Your Body Is Trying to Tell You with Dr. Marina Straszak-Suri

What if fertility wasn't just about getting pregnant? What if it was one of the clearest windows into your overall health? In this episode of The Move With Ease Podcast, I sit down with Dr. Marina Straszak-Suri, Obstetrician-Gynecologist with more than 35 years of experience, to discuss fertility, women's health, longevity, and why taking ownership of your health matters long before you're ready to start a family. After decades practicing conventional medicine, Dr. Marina began integrating a more holistic, root-cause approach into her practice. Her new book, Optimize Your Fertility Naturally, was inspired by both her patients and her own daughter, who wanted to proactively freeze her eggs before beginning a demanding medical career. That question sparked years of research into egg quality, lifestyle medicine, stress, nutrition, sleep, and environmental health—and ultimately became a practical guide for women (and men) wanting to improve both fertility and long-term wellness. • Dr. Marina's journey from conventional OB/GYN to incorporating functional medicine principles • Why fertility is a reflection of overall health—not just reproductive health • The surprising story that inspired her new book • Egg quality versus age—and why lifestyle matters more than many people realize • Why women are waiting longer to have children and how to prepare your body proactively • The role of stress, sleep, movement, and nutrition in fertility and hormone health • How chronic stress impacts hormones and reproductive health • Why lifestyle medicine should be part of every fertility conversation • Endometriosis, PCOS (now PMOS), and understanding root causes rather than simply masking symptoms • Environmental toxins, endocrine disruptors, water quality, and reducing your toxic load • Longevity habits that support both healthy aging and reproductive health • Why prevention is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves ✨ Fertility is a vital sign—it reflects the health of your entire body. ✨ You don't need to wait until you're trying to conceive to start supporting your fertility. ✨ Lifestyle choices matter more than many of us realize. ✨ Chronic stress was never meant to be our baseline. ✨ Small, consistent changes create meaningful long-term health. ✨ Prevention isn't about perfection—it's about intention. Dr. Marina Strashak-Surrey is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist with more than 35 years of clinical experience. Passionate about combining conventional medicine with evidence-based lifestyle strategies, she helps women better understand their hormones, fertility, and long-term health. She is the author of Optimize Your Fertility Naturally, a guide designed to empower women and couples with practical, science-backed tools to improve fertility and overall wellness. 🌿 Website: drmarinaobgyn.com 📖 Book: Optimize Your Fertility Naturally (available on Amazon) • What small habit could I improve today that my future self will thank me for? • Am I treating my health proactively or reactively? • What does "taking ownership of my health" look like in this season of life? • Where could I better support my body through sleep, stress management, movement, or nutrition? Please share it with someone who is thinking about starting a family, navigating fertility challenges, or simply wants to take a more proactive approach to their health. Because whether you're planning for pregnancy, preparing for menopause, or simply hoping to feel your best, investing in your health today is one of the greatest gifts you can give your future self. Until next time, keep listening to your body, keep asking questions, and keep moving through life with a little more ease. 💛 Connect with Dr. Marina on Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/dr.marina.obgyn/] or read her book HERE [https://drmarinaobgyn.com/].

Episode Episode 40: What If Physiotherapy Isn't About Fixing You? Cover

Episode 40: What If Physiotherapy Isn't About Fixing You?

Most people think physiotherapy is about treating pain. Exercises. Stretches. Massage. Dry needling. Manual therapy. And while those tools can absolutely be helpful, what if healing isn't actually about finding the perfect exercise or treatment? What if the missing piece is learning how to listen? In this solo episode, Tatianna shares the evolution of her own philosophy as a physiotherapist, runner, mother, and woman navigating the realities of aging, performance, injury, and recovery. After more than 15 years in practice, she's learned that true healing isn't about pushing harder, doing more, or forcing the body to change. It's about creating the conditions where the body can heal. • The biggest misconception about physiotherapy • Why "no pain, no gain" isn't always the answer • How Tatianna's approach has evolved over the years • The connection between healing and nervous system regulation • Why awareness often comes before action • How breath, mindfulness, and body awareness influence recovery • The difference between treating symptoms and addressing root causes • Why some people continue to struggle despite trying "all the right things" • The role of self-trust in healing and performance • What it means to meet your body where it's at ✨ More isn't always better. ✨ Healing isn't something that happens to you—it's something you participate in. ✨ You cannot force your body into healing. ✨ Awareness often comes before transformation. ✨ Your nervous system plays a much bigger role in recovery than most people realize. ✨ The goal isn't to override your body. The goal is to understand it. • What are my actual health goals? • What do I want my body to be able to do? • If I could wave a magic wand, what would my body be capable of 3 months from now? 6 months from now? A year from now? • Am I participating in my healing—or waiting to be fixed? • What might my body be trying to tell me? The best physiotherapy isn't about fixing what's broken. Because you're not broken. It's about reconnecting. Reconnecting to your breath. Reconnecting to your body. Reconnecting to your strength. Reconnecting to your confidence. And from that place, healing becomes possible. Not because someone fixed you. But because you learned how to listen. If this episode resonated with you, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Episode 39: From Chronic Pain to Playing Soccer Again in His 40s with Patrick Loiselle

What if your body has been speaking to you all along? And what if the symptoms you're experiencing aren't simply problems to fix, but messages asking to be heard? In this episode of The Move With Ease Podcast, I sit down with Patrick Loiselle, registered nurse, wellness educator, founder of IV Alchemy, and fellow preventative health advocate, for a deeply honest conversation about chronic pain, healing, nervous system regulation, and the connection between our physical and emotional health. Patrick shares his remarkable journey from suffering a ruptured disc at age 12, undergoing surgery as a teenager, living with chronic pain for decades, and relying on multiple medications - including opioids and fentanyl - to ultimately discovering a very different path toward healing. Together, we explore what happens when we stop fighting our bodies and start listening. • Patrick's experience living with chronic pain from childhood into adulthood • Why symptom management alone wasn't enough to create lasting change • The mind-body connection and how stress, trauma, and emotions can show up physically • Why our bodies often whisper before they scream • Learning to recognize triggers and emotional patterns • Chronic pain, nervous system dysregulation, and the role of awareness in healing • Plant medicine, therapy, meditation, breathwork, and other pathways toward self-discovery • The concept of "parts" and how our past experiences continue to influence our present reactions • Why curiosity is often more helpful than judgment • The difference between suppressing emotions and making space for them • Gratitude, movement, sauna, and daily practices that support healing and resilience • How Patrick works with clients through IV Alchemy and why true wellness goes beyond vitamins and supplements ✨ Your body is always communicating with you. ✨ Symptoms may be frustrating, but they can also be valuable information. ✨ Healing is rarely a straight line. ✨ What happened to you may not be your fault—but your healing is your responsibility. ✨ There is often more possibility available than we initially believe. Patrick Loiselle is a Registered Nurse, wellness educator, former personal trainer, and founder of IV Alchemy, a mobile health and wellness company serving the Ottawa area. With a background in kinesiology and decades of personal experience navigating chronic pain, Patrick is passionate about helping people explore healing through both physical and emotional pathways. Connect with Patrick: Website: IV Alchemy [https://www.ivalchemy.ca/] Instagram: @ivalchemy [https://www.instagram.com/ivalchemy/] Questions to ask yourself: • What might my body be trying to tell me right now? • Are there symptoms I've been managing without becoming curious about their deeper message? • Where in my life could I benefit from slowing down and listening more closely? • What stories am I telling myself that may no longer be true? If this conversation resonated with you, share it with a friend, family member, or anyone navigating chronic pain, burnout, stress, or a health journey of their own. And remember: Your body isn't working against you. It may just be asking you to listen. 💛 Download FREE GUIDE to start listening HERE [https://pages.tatiannagraham.com/3foundationalshifts-951772].

Episode 38: The Right Kind of Hard

"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." We've all heard the quote. But what if not every shot is meant to be yours? In this solo episode, Tatianna reflects on a recent keynote presentation from an astronaut whose journey required extraordinary levels of physical, mental, and emotional discomfort. While inspired by his story, she realized something important: Just because a challenge is impressive doesn't mean it's aligned with the life you're trying to build. This episode explores the difference between discomfort that helps us grow and discomfort that pulls us away from ourselves. Because while growth requires challenge, not every challenge is worth pursuing. In this episode, we discuss: • Why "getting out of your comfort zone" isn't always the full answer • The astronaut story that sparked this reflection • The difference between growth discomfort and misalignment discomfort • Marathon training, speaking events, podcasting, and writing a book as examples of chosen discomfort • Why comfort can sometimes keep us stuck • How people-pleasing and chasing external validation can disguise themselves as ambition • Lessons from Dr. Emma Pollon-MacLeod on tuning out the noise and defining success for yourself • Why your goals should align with your values—not someone else's expectations • The importance of building habits around the life you actually want • Reflection questions to help you determine what is truly worth pursuing Questions to consider: • What challenge am I currently pursuing? • Why am I pursuing it? • If nobody else was watching, would I still want it? • What discomfort feels meaningful? • What discomfort feels draining? • What is the right kind of hard for me? A few reminders from this episode: ✨ Not all discomfort is created equal. ✨ Growth and alignment are not the same thing. ✨ Comfort isn't always helping you. ✨ Bigger isn't always better. ✨ The goal isn't to avoid discomfort. The goal is to choose the discomfort that moves you toward the life you want. If this episode resonated with you, I'd love to hear from you. What challenge are you currently leaning into? And what kind of life are you building on the other side of it? Connect with me on Instagram @tatiannagrahaminc or send me a message. I love hearing your reflections and stories. Until next time, keep moving with intention, keep listening to your body, and keep choosing the discomfort that aligns with who you're becoming. 💛
