One suspect was arrested near El Camino Avenue and Auburn Boulevard after officers reportedly located an illegally possessed loaded handgun. Another suspect was arrested near North Avenue and Lily Street following a brief foot pursuit tied to an outstanding felony warrant. [CITY WATCH] The City of Sacramento is expanding its AI-assisted parking enforcement program targeting vehicles blocking bike lanes, especially around school zones. A 60-day warning period is now underway before $150 citations begin July 13. Officials say the program supports the city’s Vision Zero safety initiative.
