Day 162. Job 35-37

Day 161. Job 32-34

A younger man named Elihu enters the conversation after Job’s friends fall silent. Angered by both Job and his friends, Elihu argues that suffering can serve a purpose beyond punishment. He emphasizes God’s justice, wisdom, and sovereignty, insisting that God does not act wickedly or unfairly.

Day 160. Job 29-31

Job looks back on the days when he was respected, prosperous, and close to God. He contrasts those memories with his present humiliation and suffering. Defending his integrity, he reviews his conduct and maintains that he has lived righteously. Job ends by declaring his innocence and expressing his willingness to answer before God.

Day 159. Job 24-28

Job continues to question why injustice often seems unchecked and why the wicked are not always punished immediately. His friends struggle to refute his observations. As the discussion progresses, Job reflects on the greatness of God and the limits of human understanding. He concludes with a powerful meditation on wisdom, teaching that true wisdom belongs to God and is found in fearing the Lord and turning away from evil.
