Beschreibung

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason. Today we’re in Luke 1:38, where Mary responds to the angel and says, “I am the Lord’s servant. May it be to me as you have said.” This episode is all about agreeing with God’s Word and letting what He says become bigger than what you feel, what you see, or what your circumstances are saying. Mary had just received an impossible promise. In the natural, it made no sense. But instead of arguing with what God said, she agreed with it. That response is so powerful. She did not say, “Let it be to me according to what my body says,” or “according to what my past says,” or “according to what everyone else thinks.” She said, “Let it be to me according to your word.” Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason talk about how important it is to stop speaking only what is happening and start speaking what God has said. Maybe your body says one thing, but God says you are healed. Maybe your finances look one way, but God says He is your provider. Maybe your confidence is low, but God says you have the mind of Christ and that He has favor and purpose for your life. The blessing often follows what you are willing to say in agreement with God. This message is also a reminder that hearing God’s Word over and over matters. Faith comes by hearing. The more you hear what God says about you, the more you begin to believe it, and the more your life starts moving in that direction. Instead of repeating fear, insecurity, and limitation, begin repeating His promises until they become stronger than the old voice in your head. If God said it, agree with it. Speak it. Believe it. Let it be unto you according to His Word. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. Episode Start Your Day Looking for God Cover

Start Your Day Looking for God

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason. Today we’re in Matthew 6:33, and this episode is all about what you are seeking first. Jesus tells us to seek first the kingdom of God, and that simple shift changes everything. So many people start their day looking for stress, bad news, problems, and everything that is wrong. But when you begin your day looking for God’s kingdom, His peace, His favor, His joy, and His goodness, you start to see your whole day differently. Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason talk about how easy it is to wake up and immediately fill your mind with the wrong things. News, negativity, comparison, fear, and frustration can become the first thing you seek. But Scripture gives us a better starting point. Seek first the kingdom of God. Look for what God is doing. Look for His hand at work in your family, your job, your relationships, and your future. When you do that, your heart and mind begin to rise instead of sink. This message also encourages you to stop focusing only on what is wrong in the people around you. Instead of looking for the bad in your spouse, your kids, your boss, or your day, start looking for the good. Start looking for the “bacon,” as Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason put it. When you seek what is good, life-giving, and God-breathed, you begin to elevate that in the people around you and in your own heart too. The big reminder in this episode is that what you seek first shapes the atmosphere of your life. If you seek what is broken, you will live frustrated. If you seek God’s kingdom first, you will begin to notice His favor, His movement, and His goodness everywhere. And in the middle of places where you may have felt lost, discouraged, or off track, God is able to bring turnaround and direction again. Episode Stop Leaning on Your Own Understanding Cover

Stop Leaning on Your Own Understanding

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly. Today we’re in Proverbs 3:5-6, where the Bible says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” This episode is all about trusting God instead of trying to carry everything in your own strength. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how easy it is to lean on your own understanding. We want to figure everything out, solve every problem, and carry every responsibility ourselves. But this Scripture gives us a better way. Trust God with all your heart, acknowledge Him in all your ways, and let Him direct your path. That means not just turning to Him when life is falling apart, but partnering with Him in the little things too. This message also highlights two powerful sides of acknowledging God. One is going to Him for help. Bringing Him into your meetings, your parenting, your decisions, your storms, and your ordinary moments. The other is giving Him credit. Recognizing that the good in your life is not just your own effort, but God’s hand working on your behalf. That kind of gratitude keeps your heart humble, peaceful, and full of faith. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly also point out how important this is in the home. When parents model gratitude, prayer, and dependence on God in everyday life, it shapes their children in lasting ways. Those little moments of saying, “Look what God did,” “Let’s pray,” and “God helped us with this” build adults who do not just rely on the system or their own strength, but on the faithfulness of God. If you have been carrying too much on your own, let this remind you today. Stop. Trust Him. Acknowledge Him. Talk to Him. Give Him credit. Let God into every part of your day, and watch Him direct your path. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. Episode How to Guard Your Heart in a Noisy World Cover

How to Guard Your Heart in a Noisy World

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how important a wellspring was in ancient times. It had to be protected because everything downstream depended on it. That is the picture Scripture gives us for the heart. If the source gets contaminated, everything flowing out of it is affected. That is why guarding your heart matters so much. What you listen to, what you watch, what you replay in your mind, and what you say about yourself all shape the condition of your inner life. This message is also a reminder that the world is constantly trying to shape your beliefs, lower your standards, and pull you away from God’s way of doing life. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly point out how this applies in parenting, relationships, music, media, social platforms, and everyday thinking. If you allow the wrong things in long enough, they start muddying the water. But when you guard your heart and keep feeding it the Word of God, good things begin to flow out instead. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly also use Solomon as an example. He started in wisdom and favor, but later allowed his heart to be turned. That is such a powerful warning that no one drifts in a good direction by accident. Guarding your heart is not a one-time decision. It is a daily choice to protect your peace, your purity, your convictions, and your thinking so your life can keep moving toward God’s best. If you want a better life, start by guarding the source. Guard your heart. Protect what goes in. Keep the water clean. Because everything you do flows from there. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. Episode God’s Mercy Is Fresh Today Cover

God’s Mercy Is Fresh Today

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly. Today we’re in Lamentations 3:22, and this episode is all about the mercy, compassion, and faithfulness of God being brand new every single morning. No matter what yesterday looked like, God is not out of mercy, out of grace, or out of compassion for you. His goodness is fresh today. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how easy it is to get consumed by stress, overwhelm, frustration, and everything that feels heavy in life. But this Scripture reminds us that we do not have to be consumed by those things. Instead, we can be consumed by the loving kindness, mercy, and faithfulness of God. That shift changes everything. This message is such a powerful reminder that God is a God of new things. Maybe yesterday was rough. Maybe last year was rough. Maybe you feel like you have been carrying too much for too long. But His compassion has not failed, and His mercy is new again today. That means today is not trapped by yesterday. There is fresh grace for this moment, fresh strength for this day, and fresh hope for what is ahead. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly also encourage us to pause when something overwhelming tries to attach itself to us and remind ourselves what is actually true. You are not consumed by the stress. You are not consumed by the fear. You are not consumed by the pressure. You are consumed by His love, His mercy, and His faithfulness. That mindset brings patience, strength, perseverance, and peace back to the surface. If you need a reset today, this is it. His mercy is new this morning. His compassion has not failed. His faithfulness is still steady. Let that be what fills your heart today. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. Episode Don’t Let People Change Who You Are Cover

Don’t Let People Change Who You Are

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly. Today we’re in Galatians 6:9, and this episode is all about not growing weary in doing what is right. Scripture tells us not to lose heart, not to faint, and not to give up, because in due season we will reap a harvest if we keep going. That is such a powerful reminder for anyone who feels tired, overlooked, or worn down in the middle of doing the right thing. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how easy it is to get weary in relationships, at work, in marriage, in parenting, or just in life. You keep being kind. You keep giving grace. You keep showing up. You keep doing what is honorable and loving, but it can feel like nothing is changing. This message reminds us that just because the harvest has not shown up yet does not mean it is not coming. Like a farmer, you keep sowing, keep tending, and keep trusting the process. This episode also highlights something so important. Do not let other people change who you are. Just because someone is harsh does not mean you become harsh. Just because someone is unfair does not mean you stop being excellent. Just because someone is difficult does not mean you stop being loving. If your character changes every time your environment changes, then your identity is still too connected to people instead of to God. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly also talk about the real battle being inside of us. So often the fight is not really with other people. The fight is with our own reactions, emotions, and impulses. David did this in the Psalms. He talked to himself. He corrected his own soul. He reminded himself of truth. Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is fight yourself and choose to keep doing right even when it is hard. You can do hard things. Keep being kind. Keep being faithful. Keep doing what is right. In due season, the harvest will come. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe.
