Cyber for Humans

In this episode, we talk about Identity and Privacy. Expanding from the last episode where we talked about how we’ve converged in the digital world, as proxies for our identities, such as our email address protected by passwords and our phone numbers. What happens if you lose control of those proxy representations of who we are? We discuss, what steps we can take to better protect those proxies of our identity; and how privacy, is a crucial component of that.

In this week’s show, we explore the new reality that cyberspace is now very much real life.  We discuss how that transition and further integration into our everyday lives were simply expedited by the pandemic in 2020 as we all collectively shifted to working, studying and living from home. With this shift, what impact does this once imaginary realm of cyberspace, actually now have on our real lives offline today?
