Human After All It is certainly an interesting time for the digital signage space. Most events have been cancelled or postponed, including Digital Signage Expo 2020, and many businesses are being worked on remotely by their employees at home. In this climate, what is there for businesses to do to stay afloat? On this month’s episode, we discuss how some companies are handling these developments, keeping in contact with your teams and staying cohesive as a company even though you are separated. Host: Llanor Alleyne Guests: Rich Ventura – NEC Solutions Bryan Meszaros – Open Eye Global Brian McClimans – PeerlessAV Heather Sidorowicz – SouthtownAV Notes: AVNation studios production equipment provided by Shure and Vaddio. Digital signage has emerged from the traditional out of home advertising market. The traditional methods of billboards and bus shelter signs has given way to dynamic screens and interactive backend systems. Commercial audiovisual integrators can certainly have a hand in putting these digital signage systems into place. These AV pros have the history and expertise in running the cable, specifying the correct display, and deploying the hardware that makes the digital signage industry run. The other side of digital signage are the creatives. Audiovisual integrators can gain this expertise by partnering or hiring the creative teams required to turn regular displays into digital signage experiences. Taming The Wild West Of Digital Signage It’s crazy to think that Integrated Systems Europe is just a few weeks away. Even crazier is that the trade show has grown so much internationally that the RAI in Amsterdam isn’t big enough to hold the over 80,000 attendees that come to see the latest in the AV industry, moving to Barcelona in 2021. On this episode of Digital Signage Digest we discuss the dedicated space for digital signage on the show floor, the advances in display technology, and the changing roles on content managing systems. Host: Llanor Alleyne Guests: Mike Blackman – Mike on Twitter Florian Rotberg – Invidis Consulting Claus Lohse – a/c/t Notes:  AVNation studios production equipment provided by Shure and Vaddio.
