On the final episode of season 1 of HER Crowne podcast, we reflect on the first season of the podcast, from our favorite episodes, to the lessons learned, and what we have to look forward to in the future. We want to thank all of our guests for their time and input this season. Also, thank you to everyone that spent valuable time supporting the podcast. Stay tuned for updates on the start of season 2. On this week’s episode of HER Crowne, we continue our conversation with licensed professional counselor Ana Carolina Gomez discussing the importance of mental health, to include addressing our personal struggles with past experiences and traumas and normalizing mental wellness through seeking counseling and mental health treatment as needed. Special thanks again to Ana Carolina Gomez for joining us for this conversation. Ms. Gomez is a licensed professional counselor with 15 years of experience in the psychology field.  She started out providing behavioral modification techniques for children with special needs and their families, as well as counseling teenagers with substance abuse issues.  She has also provided counseling services at an emergency shelter for children crossing the border from Mexico into the United States.  She currently provides counseling services for the military in the child abuse and domestic violence division.
