Luton Town ended 178 days without an away win when they won 2-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday evening. Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe and Town fan Mark Crowther to look back on the archetype game of two halves. The lads go through the difficult watch of the opening period before getting stuck into the second half where the game of football actually broke out. They pick out the key moments, praise a number of performers and the man who had a huge influence on the game. The podcast then concludes with Mark updating us on his latest charity challenge which he will be continuing on Saturday. The Town head to Wales for what is being described as their biggest match since the Wembley play-off final almost two years ago on Tuesday night when they take on Cardiff City in a monumentally huge clash. Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to look ahead to a massive game, one which the Town certainly can’t afford to lose but in all likelihood need to win. The chaps pick out the threats that could be posed by the home side but look at a couple of records which suggest they could be vulnerable. The focus then turns to the Hatters. Who replaces Kal Naismith? Could there be a welcome return for a key figure? How do the Town line up and what does the approach need to be? The lads then pick out where the game is likely to be won and lost before giving their score predictions. It was another away day to forget for the Town as they fell to a 4-0 defeat at Burnley with just 10 men. Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to look back at an afternoon which didn’t go to plan to say the very least. The boys discuss the 90 minutes and pick out the key moments which could have implications beyond events in Lancashire. The chaps then dig very deep to try to find some positives from the afternoon and assess the situation the Hatters are in. All this and so much more, including James’ DIY disasters, on the longest-running award-winning Luton Town podcast! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Donate to Mark Crowther’s Million March Hatters Challenge: https://www.justgiving.com/team/markmillionmarchhatterschallenge --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Find us at: https://www.lutontownsupporterstrust.com Find all the latest Luton Town news, including match reaction content, at The Lutonian at: https://thelutonian.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks to The Barber Club and The Lower Level for hosting our new studio for the regular podcast. Luton make the lengthy trip to Lancashire on Saturday afternoon to face a watertight Burnley side in a daunting clash at Turf Moor. Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe to look ahead to a match which might not yield too much based on the incredible defensive record that the home side have to offer heading into the game. The boys look at Burnley in a little more detail and pick out how and where Luton might be able to become the first team to score twice against the Clarets in the league this term, though Cardiff did break their long 12 clean sheets in a row second-tier record. The chaps cover the potential team line-up and whether priority should be given the upcoming matches over this one. They also discuss what needs to be a lot better if the Town are going to stay up. The podcast concludes with the score predictions. Does either Kev or James predict Luton to get anything at Turf Moor for a third successive season? The Town tasted that winning feeling for the first time in 2025 on Saturday afternoon when a Jordan Clark strike was enough to see off Portsmouth 1-0. Kev is joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe and Luton boxer Lunis Udofia to rejoice in victory in a match which saw the Hatters come off the bottom of the Championship table. The boys discuss some significant words before the match before dissecting the best parts of the contest from start to finish. The lads talk about the key performers and on Oscars weekend hand out their own awards for the afternoon before they assess the current situation after the victory. The discussion then turns to Linus’ upcoming English middleweight title defence at York Hall later this month and how his preparations for the contest are going.
