227: Hänen ei pitänyt selvitä
Tiaan Eilerd oli ollut viettämässä iltaa ystäviensä kanssa, kun kotimatkalla he törmäsivät järkyttävään näkyyn. Keskellä autotietä makasi verinen nainen, joka hädin tuskin hengitti. Nainen oli kokenut erittäin voimakasta väkivaltaa ja hänen kehossaan oli ainakin kaksi vakavaa vammaa.
Eläinlääkäriopiskelijana Tiaan ryhtyi antamaan ensiapua parhaiden kykyjensä mukaan. Ambulanssia odotellessaan hän piti naista hereillä ja keskusteli tämän kanssa. Koska nainen ei kyennyt kertomaan nimeään, Tiaan alkoi kutsua häntä Caroliksi.
Lopulta nainen vietiin sairaalahoitoon, jonka jälkeen hänen tarinansa levisi ympäri maailmaa. Mitä tuona joulukuisena lauantai-iltana oli tapahtunut ja kuka oli tämä nainen, joka oli selvinnyt mahdottomasta?
