What is happiness to you. The Webster dictionary defines happiness as: a: a state of well-being and contentment : Joy b: a pleasurable or satisfying experience Joy is a word that is common both naturally and spiritually when it relates to happiness, however we know that true joy comes from God. His Holy Spirit which is embedded within us keeps us whole, complete, content, and full of joy. If we are truly living our lives with Christ as the head, He supplies us with a peaceful life within His will. This doesn't mean situations will not arise in our lives that make us uncomfortable, it means through faith we humbly trust God and take His Word at face value, casting our cares upon Him. The Holy Spirit will keep you in perfect peace if you keep your mind stayed on God. So happiness is joy and true joy can not be taken away from you by man. When I think of joy, love, peace, kindness, humility, meekness, friendship, knowledge, understanding and wisdom come to mind. Most importantly, my relationship/friendship with Christ is where my joy began. In my experience and through watching the lives of others I have learned to understand that there will always be a void in someones life when there is an absence of a relationship with Christ. There is a life that Christ has planned for you, and until you walk with Him and learn of Him, you will remain ignorant to the plan(s). True joy only comes from Christ, and through a relationship with Him we become complete. Before I received Christ as my savior I was lost. Every day was new, but the days had very little structure. There was no prayer to start my day, and I was open to the unexpected and wicked devices of satan. I took ownership of every thought than ran across my mind, I was ignorant to the wicked devices of satan. I was unhappy and encountered many unhealthy and unpleasant experiences, there were some good things, but the happiness was only temporary. As a child I didn't know, all it takes to find happiness is to accept Christ into my life and receive Him as my Lord and Savior. There were even times after I had given my life to Christ where I had turned away and slid back into sinful patterns. Although I knew God's word, at that time, my repeated sin drew me further and further away. I could not hear God's word clear, sin had overtaken me, and I once again found myself living life in temporary happiness. Due to the lack of faith in God so many people go through life living incomplete. One day it finally sunk in that I needed to put all of my trust in God and stop leaning to my own understanding. My decisions were not fool proof and I needed God to lead and guide me. Today I am fully committed to Christ and I understand that there is no other way to live my life. God loves us so much that He makes it easy to accept Him. To obtain true happiness, a beg of you to pray in the name of Jesus and ask Him to come into your life, be willing to accept His Spirit, and allow him to lead and guide you on the path He has prepared for you. Prayer: Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus, forgive me from all my sins, cleanse me from unrighteousness, and wash me in your blood. I believe you died on the cross for my sins, that you were buried and on the third day God the Father raised you from the dead. Right now Lord Jesus, I open the door to my heart and I receive you into my heart as my Lord and personal Savior. Thank You Jesus, Amen. If you truly meant the prayer you have accepted Christ into your life and you are now on your way to finding true happiness. Start learning God's word. Go to bible study and learn from a pastor what God means in His word. I recommend you find a pastor that believes there is one God eternally existent in three persons, God The Father, God The Son & God The Holy Spirit. The church of God in Christ is my denomination,

Before we enter into worship with God, even prayer for that matter, we must insure that we are in right standing with God. That we have asked God to forgive us for any sin that we may have encountered and we must also forgive those who have sinned against us. Sometimes forgiveness for us seems almost impossible, but when we give our cares to The Lord Jesus through prayer, praise, and worship, He can make the impossible possible for us. I know because He has done it for me. Holding back forgiveness is a form of hatred, because it causes you to carry hurt, pain, anger, and even rage within your internal being. These are all attributes that satan wants you to carry. The Lord wants you to step over the booby traps that satan has set up, because traps cause you to stumble and fall. God wants us to focus on Him, on the plan(s) that He has set forth for our lives, and on developing a strong connection with Him. It is through worship that we can forgive, be forgiven, cast our cares, and release our anger and fear. Tune into this podcast to better understand how to clear all lines of communication and enter into worship with Christ our Lord and Savior. Mathew 11:29-30 * Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. * For my yoke is easy and my are burdens are light.
