Casey Giordano served six years in the Minnesota Army National Guard and is now teaching and studying counterproductive work behaviours, deviance, and personality with applications in wearable tech at the University of Minnesota. His work bridges the gap between the theoretical and the applied. Casey and I discussed the broad implications of tech in and out of the workplace and it's impact on both sides of the employer-employee dynamic. We also talked about big-data and ethical use of data and wearable tech in the workplace as a means of better understanding employees. Natasha Ouslis is a behaviour change researcher and consultant. In the final stages of her PhD in Organizational Psychology at Western University, she studies how team dynamics like conflict, collaboration, and confidence in innovation to improve team performance. As a consultant in applied behavioural science for four years, she advises companies on how to use people analytics to design better organizations through her company, NEOconsulting. Ludmila Praslova is the founding Director of the Graduate Programs in Organizational Psychology at Vanguard University of Southern California. Tara Weldon is a dedicated disaster responder having served at ground zero during 9-11, she's served in so many hurricanes she's beginning to lose count, she's a cancer survivor, and among all these remarkable experiences in their own right she also happens to be a licensed clinician and seasoned researcher having studied everything from sleep health, to pharmaceuticals, to violence and genocide.
