A real estate company leaves a leaflet while the furnace is not working prompting Archie to consider selling and moving to Sunny California. The black realtor offers more than what the house is worth, but someone’s going to be left out in the cold.

Edith’s accident

While at the market, Edith has a freak accident with a shopping cart, a parked car, and a can of cling peaches in heavy syrup. Edith leaves a note behind, and when the man calls to collect for the damage, Archie prepares for a not so peachy situation.

The election story

The local election pits, Mike and Gloria against Archie, who suddenly feels compelled to vote for the first time in 11 years just to vote against their candidate but when he finds out he’s not registered, he tries to sway Edith’s vote

Flashback Mike meets Archie

As Mike and Gloria celebrate their first wedding anniversary, the Bunkers recall Mike’s introduction to the family, which Archie remembers all too well much like Pearl Harbor and the crash of the Hindenburg

Edith writes a song

With $30 in the family pot, the bunkers argue whether the money should go to set Edith’s lyrics to music or buy a gun. Archie buys the gun but when it’s used to hold them hostage by burglars, he’s forced to sing a new tune.
