First, yes, it is biblical to be concerned about social justice. Second, the Bible gives us plenty of places to start those discussions, but James is directly concerned about the subject. So, exactly how does the book of James approach social justice? What verses are contained in this particular book that maybe we weaken by taking them out of their context? Essentially, they are one story in two volumes or parts. So, why do we study them separately? John is definitely the most different among the four gospel accounts. So what is John trying to tell us? John makes clear that the miracles were more than just a showing of power. He does this by describing the signs of Jesus and what those signs meant. John also introduces us to a host of witnesses, including himself to help reveal more about the life of Jesus and his teachings.
