First, yes, it is biblical to be concerned about social justice. Second, the Bible gives us plenty of places to start those discussions, but James is directly concerned about the subject. So, exactly how does the book of James approach social justice? What verses are contained in this particular book that maybe we weaken by taking them out of their context? The book of Luke and the book of Acts are written by the same person. They are addressed to the same man. They have the same thematic elements and focus running through them both. Essentially, they are one story in two volumes or parts. So, why do we study them separately? Is it hurting our ability to understand the focus of this recounting of Jesus' life and the formation of His Church? Let's explore them together and see what we find. CWD Episode 98: When is a Miracle more than a Miracle?

John is definitely the most different among the four gospel accounts. So what is John trying to tell us? John makes clear that the miracles were more than just a showing of power. He does this by describing the signs of Jesus and what those signs meant. John also introduces us to a host of witnesses, including himself to help reveal more about the life of Jesus and his teachings.
