About Reclaim The Pink Within

Reclaim The Pink Within podcast is a space where women’s stories take center stage. In each episode, I sit down with one guest to explore who she was before becoming a mother, her transition through motherhood, how her identity shifted, the challenges she faced, and what helped her navigate the change. Together, we talk about her ongoing struggles and triumphs, allowing the conversation to unfold naturally. The goal is to create a collective narrative — a tapestry of stories woven together through honesty, vulnerability, and connection. Through shared experiences, we hope to remind women of their worth, celebrate their resilience, and encourage them to rediscover their vibrant, powerful selves. This podcast is about reclaiming identity, reconnecting with who we are beyond the roles we play, and rebuilding the village we’ve lost. One story, one conversation, one woman at a time.

Dr. Christelle Oliver-Dussault continues this series of short bonus episodes from Reclaim the Pink Within, created to offer grounding tools and restorative moments of pause for mothers navigating the demands and emotional shifts of everyday life. In this meditation, she guides listeners through a calming mountain meditation designed to cultivate resilience, stability, and inner stillness through breathwork and visualization. Using the imagery of a mountain standing strong through changing weather, this practice encourages mindfulness, emotional grounding, and a deeper connection to the steady presence within yourself. About The Host: Dr. Christelle Oliver-Dussault is a family physician with a clinical focus on aesthetic medicine, women’s health, and psycho-education. episode Decision Fatigue in Motherhood: Kelsey's Story On Loss of Control & The Mental Load | 012 artwork

Decision Fatigue in Motherhood: Kelsey's Story On Loss of Control & The Mental Load | 012

There’s a quiet weight that comes with the constant decisions, expectations, and identity shifts that unfold in early motherhood. In my conversation with Kelsey, we explore what it looks like to navigate that season while trying to stay connected to yourself. From becoming a mother during COVID to returning to work just a few months postpartum, Kelsey shares how quickly life changed and how those changes brought both growth and internal tension. We talk about the mental load of decision fatigue, the pressure to meet external expectations, and the guilt that can creep in no matter what choices you make. Kelsey opens up about how faith, community, and simple practices like journaling helped her stay grounded and reconnect with small moments of joy. Her story is a reminder that self-discovery doesn’t happen all at once it unfolds slowly, in the middle of the chaos, as we learn to release control and trust ourselves a little more. Key Takeaways * Decision fatigue can quietly impact mental health and requires intentional awareness * Personal reflection practices can help shift focus from overwhelm to appreciation * Support systems look different for everyone, and finding what works for you matters most * Letting go of control can create more space for presence and emotional balance About The Guest: Kelsey Magnuson is a mom of 2 (ages 3 and 5) and lives outside Boston, Massachusetts. She has her Masters in Public Health and works full time as the Community Benefits Manager for a local non-profit health system. In addition to working, she leads a local mom group at her church once a month where moms come together to share in their experiences and deepen their faith. She is also in the process of launching a new podcast called Find Your Feathers which you can find on Instagram @findyourfeatherspodcast [https://www.instagram.com/findyourfeatherspodcast/]. She enjoys spending time with family, focusing on her health through fitness and nutrition and being active outside. episode Marketing To Motherhood: How Amelie Hemberger Is Building A Supportive Community For Mothers | 011 artwork

Marketing To Motherhood: How Amelie Hemberger Is Building A Supportive Community For Mothers | 011

Becoming a mother has a way of reshaping not just your day-to-day life, but your sense of direction and possibility. In my conversation with Amelie Hemberger, we talk about what it really looks like to hold onto ambition while stepping into this new chapter. She shares how her identity evolved after having children, and how she learned to honor both her role as a mother and her desire to keep building something of her own. Amelie opens up about the internal and external pressures to “choose” between family and career, and how she decided to carve out a path that feels aligned instead. Through creating Lumira, a platform designed to bring mothers together in honest and meaningful ways, she’s building the kind of community she once needed. This conversation is about trusting yourself, embracing reinvention, and giving yourself permission to grow in more than one direction at once. Key Takeaways * You don’t have to follow a traditional path to create a fulfilling balance between work and family * Building something meaningful often comes from recognizing what’s missing in your own experience * Growth in motherhood can expand your vision rather than limit it * Alignment matters more than external validation when making life and career decisions About the Guest: Amelie Hemberger is a mother of two, event expert, and the founder of Luamira, a live virtual platform that helps women, especially mothers, reconnect with themselves through meaningful evening experiences. Alongside building Luamira, she continues to work in marketing and communication, bringing her experience from both corporate and entrepreneurial worlds into everything she creates. After more than 15 years of designing events around the world, from Buenos Aires to Kyoto, and now living between Germany and France, her life shifted into a very different rhythm. Evenings became quieter, often spent at home after long days with her children. While she deeply values motherhood, she also felt something many women experience but rarely put into words. The longing for inspiration, for real conversations, and for a sense of self beyond everyday roles. Luamira was born from that moment. A simple question. What if evenings at home could become something more again. Today, Amelie creates live, intimate spaces where women can pause, reflect, exchange, and rediscover parts of themselves that often get lost in the busyness of daily life. No pressure, no performance, just real moments of connection from their own living rooms. Her work is rooted in the belief that mothers don’t need more to consume, but spaces where they can feel present, inspired, and seen. With her global experience and her own journey into motherhood, she is quietly reshaping what evenings can look and feel like. www.luamira.com [http://www.luamira.com/] About The Host: Dr. Christelle Oliver-Dussault is a family physician with a clinical focus on aesthetic medicine, women’s health, and psycho-education. episode The Power of Compassion in Motherhood: Hana Hein's Journey | 010 artwork

The Power of Compassion in Motherhood: Hana Hein's Journey | 010

Motherhood has a way of reshaping not only our routines, but our entire sense of self. In my conversation with Hana, we explore the quiet and often complicated transition that happens when the life we once knew no longer fits the woman we are becoming. Hana opens up about the identity shifts that followed motherhood, the grief of letting go of parts of her former life, and the emotional weight that many mothers carry but rarely speak about openly. As we talk, Hana shares how hitting a personal low point eventually led her toward healing through yoga, somatic practices, and learning to approach herself with more compassion. Rather than striving for perfection, she began creating space—space to feel, to process, and to rebuild her relationship with herself. Our conversation is a reminder that motherhood is not just about raising children; it is also about learning to hold ourselves with gentleness as we grow and change. Key Takeaways * Healing often begins when we allow ourselves to slow down rather than push harder. * Grief can be a natural part of identity transitions, even during joyful life stages. * Somatic practices can help reconnect the body and mind after periods of stress or emotional overwhelm. * Creating intentional space for rest and reflection can strengthen resilience in motherhood. About the Guest: Hana Hein is a somatic business coach and strategist helping soul-led women build profitable, aligned businesses from the inside out. With over 20 years of experience bringing her clients back into their body (beginning as a registered massage therapist and yoga teacher working with professional athletes and Olympians) Hana has developed a uniquely integrated approach that refuses to separate nervous system work from real business strategy. Because one without the other simply doesn't hold. She is the founder of The Embodied Entrepreneur, a group coaching program for women who are ready to stop stalling at their own ceiling and start building businesses that are as sustainable as they are fulfilling. She also hosts Nourish Your Soul retreats and creates accessible nervous system education and embodied experiences through her programs and workshops. Hana is an E-RYT 500 and somatic practitioner, and serves as faculty in yoga teacher training — teaching the business module, naturally. She lives in British Columbia with her husband and young two sons. Her work lives at the intersection of self-leadership, nervous system capacity, and strategic clarity, because ambitious women don't need more hustle. They need a business that can hold them.
