Episode 6: Meet our guest: Maithy Mouné - Empowering the African diasporic Community

Maithy Mouné (Co-Managing Director of EOTO Foundation [https://www.linkedin.com/feed/#]) is a Berlin-born project manager. She studied business administration and has over 25 years of experience in project management, marketing, controlling and office administration across various industries and well-established companies. In addition to these activities, she is connected to the African diasporic Community and to the continent as a consultant to support German companies to access the market in various African countries. She has excellent networks in politics, associations, businesses and companies in Germany and on the African continent. She started the initiative ‘Black Business Matters’ in Germany about 5 ½ years ago to strengthen, empower and promote people from the Black community. These events provide a unique and exciting space for people and businesses to network, discuss and take action on advancing the development of Black people in Germany. She is also a manager of a young basketball athlete and the founder of an initiative about Basketball and exchange among young people.

She battled her way through the scholarship amongst 15,000 others and managed to be among the 1500 students who completed the Nano Degree.
