Episode 13: Infinite

A somber introduction to today's episode with the boys sending their best wishes to Jai Arrow after last week's announcement. Speed Round is helped along by the abbreviated slate of games while the boys take a diversion through Belmore for this week's What Caught Your Eye. The Grapple - Origin Edition sees the boys run through their Origin predictions (with a ridiculous tangent through the Infinite Universe) and Free Ballin' morphs into the Wit and Wisdom of JC as he examines Laurie Daley's coaching record at Origin Level. It is rounded out by Vox Poppin, where JC backslides from his Roosters recovery and shares a sauna with a Channel 9 luminary. Episode 12: Gazumped!

The boys ponder another NRL gazumping while Noz (warily) lifts the R-Ban on JC, all the while contemplating the Magical Weekend in Brisbane (for everyone other than Eels fans). JC takes an aquatic theme in What Caught Your Eye while Noz simply Old-man-rants about wingers. ...and an exciting development! As the NRL News cycle was fit to burst the week, we have not one but Two Grapples as Noz and JC try to get their heads around both Ivan Cleary's resignation and some perplexing Origin Selections. In the Round Preview, Noz takes his customary ridiculous tangent, this time to giant statues and the Mediterranean while JC goes out on a limb with some uncharacteristic risky tips. Episode 11: Recovery

Noz reaches out as only a true friend can to stop JC's descent into Red, White and Blue madness, in the process banning a certain "R" word. Speed Round accentuates the positive while contemplating how a Golden Point game can end in a shower. Our collective eyes are drawn to the outskirts of the field and the boys anticipate a magical weekend (or two). The Round Preview goes on its usual rollercoaster ride with Noz throwing out a few smokies (to aid in JC's recovery of course) and we end on a Free Ballin' that somehow links South Central LA with Carcassonne, the Gold Coast Seagulls and smoking during snowstorms. Episode 10: Prayer and A**

JC and Noz celebrate the milestone of 10 episodes in the most fitting of ways: by playing a rather lopsided game of True-or-False. JC dazzles with his new-found technological/design nous while Sir Mixalot and religious trinkets make a somewhat improbable appearance. The Grapple takes a (slightly late) detour to Port Moresby, the boys try and redeem their terrible tipping and JC brings it all home with a walk down memory lane, taking literal half measures. Episode 9: Reality Bites

JC and Noz contemplate the Cowboy-shaped iceberg off the coast of Townsville while lamenting the absence of any tangible form of tackling over the Anzac Day Round. JC struggles to get his head around the concept of Hot Takes while Noz puts Jason Saab's magnificent "bomb" header into the historical record so future generations can marvel at Jason's civilization-changing feat. The boys make a detour to "Cocktails and Dreams" on the Goldie and Noz brings it all home with a recounting of some of the all-time dud player signings. ...all the while, keeping the 80s alive (except Bob Lindner in an Eels jersey.
