episode Sue Lord artwork

Sue Lord

When Kate saw Centurion Running’s reel following and celebrating the last finisher of the SDW100 around the track, she knew she wanted to invite her on the Podcast. This wasn’t Sue’s first 100 and we talk about why she was last, how she battled an injury at 40 miles and an ongoing niggle which stopped her running at 66 miles. Where many would throw in the towel, she kept going, chasing cut offs and in spite of everything she finished. We also touch on what happened at Biotropika and a possible new Backyard record plus Western States starts tomorrow and we are cheering on the Brits, including Fi Pascall. episode Stephanie Case artwork

Stephanie Case

Robin and Kate had a great chat with Stephanie Case. This extraordinary woman is so positive, she infects all around her with her obvious love and passion for running ridiculous distances over enormous terrain. However, at the end of the year she has her sights set on something quite different - the Antarctic Ultra where she will not only be the first woman competitor, but she hopes to set a new 24 hour record and go over the 100 miles currently reached at approx 22 hours. We chatted about dnfs, doping, nutrition, mind set and so much more. We’d also like to wish Stephanie the happiest of birthdays this weekend 🎈 Thanks for tuning in! episode Sage Canaday artwork

Sage Canaday

This week, Sage joins us for a good chinwag about all things running. He recently confirmed he won a place in the Cocodona 250 lottery for 2027 and told us that he plans to have an attempt at the Masters 100 mile record at Tunnel Hill in November. We did also touch on doping, but quickly moved on to more important things such as Sage’s first Youtube video; a satirical review on Nipple Tips! One of the reasons we love Sage is his light hearted side alongside his more serious training content and it was great having him on. Thanks for tuning in! Camille Herron

This week on RunUltra, Robin sits down with Camille Herron for a wide ranging conversation covering her marathon personal best in a pair of INOV8 shoes, Wikipedia 👀, clean sport and her and Sage Canaday’s battle for justice. They also discuss life as an unsponsored athlete and the inspiring mission of the Sri Chinmoy Peace Run. Throughout the episode, Camille’s passion for running and her belief in its ability to bring people together and enrich lives shines through. Enjoy the conversation. Thanks for tuning in!
