Listen to the influence of your influence. Suddenly, there was a burst of light, and a strip of tape was sent rippling across the black of space. Over centuries and millenniums, lifeforms spanning the universe created a tradition of sharing the wealth of their creative influence by burning tracks into the cassette tape. Now, the tape has landed on Planet Earth and each week, Max and Jack sit down with artists across the new music scene to add to it. Each episode, they add four tracks that have greatly influenced them across their life and one of their own.

Jennifer Walshe (Composer/Performer)

Composer and performer, Jennifer Walshe, described by the Irish Times as "the most original compositional voice to emerge from Ireland in the past 20 years,” has her work commissioned, broadcast and performed worldwide. Jennifer has written for a range of ensembles, the Arditti Quartet, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the International Contemporary Ensemble, to name only a few in her extensive discography of commissions. Jennifer frequently performs in her own works, specialising in extended vocal techniques which play an equally distinct part in her activity as an improviser. His latest album, Delicious, was released by New Amsterdam Records in 2025. Matt Roberts is a composer, trumpet player, conductor and arranger (Jorja Smith, Ezra Collective, SAULT, Cleo Sol, Becky Hill, Mark Ronson) based in London. After studying at Leeds Conservatoire and Trinity Laban, he soared into the British Jazz scene leading his own big band at Ronnie Scott’s and the London Jazz Festival. Matt is regarded as one of London’s most versatile conductors, conducting film scores and concerts around the world, including Ministry of Sound, Britpop Classical and SAULT at All Points East. En fantastisk app med et enormt stort udvalg af spændende podcasts. Podimo formår virkelig at lave godt indhold, der takler de lidt mere svære emner. At der så også er lydbøger oveni til en billig pris, gør at det er blevet min favorit app.

Rigtig god tjeneste med gode eksklusive podcasts og derudover et kæmpe udvalg af podcasts og lydbøger. Kan varmt anbefales, om ikke andet så udelukkende pga Dårligdommerne, Klovn podcast, Hakkedrengene og Han duo 😁 👍
