In this episode I got to sit down and chat with Dinara Mukh about one of my favourite health topics- period and hormones! 75% of health studies are done on men, which means, women truly don't know a lot about their bodies, even something so simple as our period. We are told bloating, mood swings, pain, breakouts, etc, are all apart of getting your period. In reality, thats not the case. As women, we need to be better educated on our bodies, so that we can truly thrive, and not feel like we are pushing a rock up a hill for the majority of our mentstrual cycle. Dinara teaches us how to sync with our cycle, and use our period to benefit us, rather than feel like its working against us. She also teaches us the importance of balancing our hormones, so that we can lose weight, and keep It off. Leigh also gives you some tips on finding the right Dr. for you, so that you can get to the bottom of your symptoms, and get the support you need.
