The Pixel Junkies Episode 6: Running Around in Sadness

In this episode: Colorful Captains, Drunken Shenanigans, and Valleys That Are Uncanny. Rob and Will bring the pain while hunting down Barfbag the Asshole in Lord of the Rings: Shadow of Mordor, they lambaste the people upset about pressing “x” to kiss, and Will puts on his “Agent Mulder Man-Suit” to discuss a possible conspiracy in regards to a big name game being delayed. The Nemesis system is game changing, Super Mario 3 is STILL the best NES game, and Will hopes he can live out the dream of playing in the NBA with his amazing beard.

The Pixel Junkies Episode 5: The Carrot and The Shadows

In this episode: Force Ghosts, Gross Carrots, and Shitty Shadows. Rob and Will are back and are ready for the non stop release schedule of “FALL GAMES 2014-AGEDDON”. They check in with their puppets in space and the suburbs all the while struggling for a bite of the carrot before Will explains to Rob why Forza Horizons 2 is racing rehab.

The Pixel Junkies Episode 4: Will Has a Shaky Foundation OR Motherships Like a Motherf***er

In this episode: The Pixel Junkies play with dolls, and commit space genocide. Rob talks about how The Sims franchise helped him through a tough time, Will stands on his soapbox and can’t seem to get off, conspiracy theories abound, and they both enjoy the prospect of controlling each other’s lives in a virtual dollhouse. Once the dolls are put away, they both enter the world of Destiny and are completely confused as to what everything means. Sleepy voice-overs, boring mission structure, and lack of loot would make most people give up, but The Pixel Junkies find the fun buried underneath a protective layer of glimmer. They enjoy what Bungie has brought to the table, but are more excited for what they will bring in the future. Rob also quickly discusses one of the cooler features of the new PS4 release of Diablo 3.

The Pixel Junkies Episode 3: How Am I Going To Afford This?

Rob enjoys playing with dolls and doesn’t care that the pools are missing, Bungie is going to bring the pain with Destiny, and Will talks Rob into taking a spinning limo for a ride in Roundabout. Will and Rob are going to be sucked in by the next eventual release of Disney Infinity when the Star Wars license is used, Will thinks Rob is completely off his rocker in regards to Hyrule Warriors, and Rob cannot be swayed by Will’s insistence that Forza is a worthy series due to the fact there are no hood mounted machine guns. A new Smash Bros. game does nothing for either of the Junkies, an Oculus is needed to go back to the Nostromo for Will, and Rob sucks at basketball. Tiny Tina ruined all good will for the Borderlands series for Will, Civilization is too hard for Rob, Mecha-Spacey is an interesting proposition, and Will is chomping at the bit for theWarlords of Draenor.

The Pixel Junkies Episode 2: Press Start Part 2

Will and Rob are back and they attempt to finish discussing their favorite games of all time. The Super Nintendo was ushered into the hearts of kids with Super Mario World and both of them remember how awesome it was to receive a VHS in the mail from Nintendo Power. A hover horse and a laser pistol is all that was missing from John Marston's adventures, Will verbally bitch slaps Rob in regards to Tom Nook, and Lucasarts was a force to be reckoned with in the 90's.
