S1E2 A Wilder World Begins Here: An Embodied Exploration Of Ontology, Ontological Pluralism & Onto-fugitivity

Allow me to abduct you to a world of benevolent gods, untamed horses and... free-wheeling shopping carts.  Wait, what now?  Yeah, strange are the worlds we are privileged to inhabit. This episode of the Richness of Being podcast invites you, quite fittingly, into an embodied exploration of the nature of being. We'll dive into philosophical concepts that may help us deepen our understanding of how we make sense of the world and explore how/where they live in our bodies. We mention: * Ontology * Ontological pluralism (Paul Feyerabend) * Onto-fugitivity (Bayo Akomolafe).  This episode may help you:  * feel into where/how your inherited ontology resides in your body (you may be surprised that it lives there at all) * discover your body's orientation when it comes to entering other ways of being, as well as a world of awe and wonder (you may be less open than you think) * begin/deepen your journey into embodied selfhood, a highly insecure and vulnerable path that may not offer any rewards in the conventional sense (but may stir deeper questions of soul) Please note: resistance to leaning into embodiment, feeling, lingering and slowing down is normal. This may be a sign that your modern mind is trying to keep you away from “trouble”.  After listening, let me know: What came up for you when exploring the scenarios mentioned in the episode? Again, this might be hard to understand from a purely "rational" approach, take this in embodied ways, breathe, sway, dance with it.

S1E1 Tapping Into Aliveness - A Cautionary Tale For The Times We Live In

Journey with me into the first episode, a tender exploration of aliveness and embodied work in our turbulent world. Forget the pursuit of a better self; this is an awakening to the vibrant pulse of life that animates you in every breath. This quiet, subtle, yet exquisitely precious and intimate work is often brushed aside by the mind and system. Yet, it is a profound act of rebellion, a reclaiming of your inherent vitality and wildness. Within this episode, we'll explore: * A tangible glimpse into how aliveness, the deep richness of being, and embodied work intertwine in a real-life scenario * The nourishing gifts (yum!) and the honest edges of embodied practice * Pathways to weave a deeper connection with your own soul and the living current of life * The untamed, fertile ground where life's wild magic beckons * Why simply swapping out old blueprints might fail to cultivate the future our hearts truly yearn for Learn more about Ulrike's work on her website [https://www.ulrikekanton.com/] or connect with her on LinkedIn [https://www.linkedin.com/in/ulrike-kanton-a194b2350/].
