About THE STORY OF MAHISHASURMARDINI

This is the story of the Goddess Durga and the mighty daanav (demon) Mahishasur. Told by Valentina Trivedi, it is a story in 9 parts, encompassing the birth of Mahisha, the appearance of the Devi and the fierce battle between the two which ends in the Devi slaying Mahisha.
