Sometimes, taking a break can provide us with an opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in the present moment, appreciate the space and opportunities that surround us, and make the necessary adjustments. It also enables us to reflect on the past, release what has what hurt us, and prepare for the future. It’s perfectly acceptable to embrace the life we’re living and express gratitude for the journeys we’ve taken. ❤️

Guarding your heart is biblical. But what does that mean? Why is it important? Well, for me, it’s important to understand that my heart is open but protected. When you have a heart for the people, it can be an easy target. Life isn’t perfect, and we cannot shield ourselves from everything, but it’s important to ensure that we put boundaries up and we stick to them. Our hearts are special, and we should always ensure we are guarding it from hurt, harm, and danger. ❤️

In this journey, we will sometimes long for a time in our lives that no longer exists or a version of ourselves we have grown beyond. It’s okay to hold on to those moments, but it’s equally important that you hold on to and cherish the moments and version of yourself you’ve grown into, as there’s nothing more precious than the present. ❤️
