Dog With A Bone

A dog comes home with something in her mouth. Not a stick. Not a ball. A human skull. For more than a year, Chicarin, a German Shepherd mix in Center Point, Alabama kept bringing bones home. A skull. A tibia. Long bones left as gifts in the front yard. Investigators put GPS trackers on the neighborhood dogs. The Jefferson County Coroner ran DNA. Slowly, piece by piece, a picture emerged. The bones belonged to Curtis Taylor Jr., a 25-year-old legally blind man who vanished from his family's home in February 2024. His family filed a missing persons report. Searches turned up nothing. Then a dog found what investigators couldn't. He'd been shot. His death: ruled a homicide. His killer: still unknown. Deadly Hospital Shift Change

A man was dropped off at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. He asked to be taken there. He wanted and needed help.  But Matthew Taylor never walked through the door. Hours later a 27-year-old nurse, wife and young mother named Ada Doss was walking through the parking lot at shift change when she crossed paths with Taylor, who police say gunned her down outside her car. Where's the Baby?

A deadly crash on a rural Alabama road kills a father and a two-year-old girl. The mother is airlifted in critical condition.  Then a family member from out of town asks a question no one can answer: where is the baby?  The couple had a one-year-old son that no one had seen for three months.   What followed was one of the most disturbing cases Fayette County Sheriff Byron Yerby says he's encountered in 32 years of law enforcement.
