Descripción

First steps are very big, yes? How about the second and the third. This episode explores the fear of failure/judgement that leads to procrastinating as I seek perfection. And how, I am overcoming. How do you get out of the voice in your head that says 'you are not enough?' The Amka Literature Forum that I have mentioned is happening tomorrow at Goethe Institute from 10am-1pm. Inform every female writer that's next to you. Thank you for your time. Yours, Mo 💚

Workversation: Expectation vs Reality!

Loosing a job, whether you resigned or were fired, is the beginning of a new life altogether. For the 20 something year old, sometimes, it is moving back to your parents house after a year of living on your own terms. It is falling from grace to grass but still surviving on grace. A while back, I uploaded a not so rosy pic of me in unmade hair, more like in ugly-made matutas. A friend asked me if I was depressed. Loosing a job imbalances the scales, such that where I used to have money for beauty & lacked time for the same or scheduled a few hours of it, now I have time but little to no money to cater for beauty expenses. 4 months into my joblessness, I am beginning to feel the lack of security. Why because I can no longer afford and/or enjoy my cheap thrills. A stable income however little is stable- you know for a fact that you have the ability to sustain your lifestyle, pay your bills, even call yourself a responsible adult if living makes you broke 3 days later.
