Whether it’s through political rhetoric or casual conversations, we often fail to recognize that everyone has feelings, histories, and lives beyond their beliefs. When it's done under the guise of religion, it's exceptionally egregious.

Saying you're not political is bullshit because EVERYTHING is political. The argument isn't that politics should be personal — it's that it already is, whether citizens acknowledge it or not. Civic disengagement isn't neutrality. It's an uncast vote that still gets counted. As we begin to create "The List," we start here. We're done giving social cover to those who don't, can't, or refuse to acknowledge that their vote affects everything and everyone.
