When we foster trust, our children will seek our council during times when they need it most. As parents, we will best equip our children when we council our children through the word of God. Be intentional.

Fostering trust with your children

If we want any chance at leading well in our childrens teen years, we have to be willing to foster a relationship of trust now. Lead by example. Begin or deepen your journey of trusting Christ to lead your life, your parenting, your marriage, and model for your children what a health surrender to the Lord looks like. Along the way of fostering your own trusting relationship, your children will learn how to trust your leading as well as the good fathers leading in their lives. Live through the lens of Gods word.
