A Case Against Same-Sex Marriage - Part 1

A very strong and compelling case can be made against same-sex marriage. In fact, the case against it is much stronger than the case for it. Please join me in the first part of my case as I look at the Biblical, political, and social arguments that show that same-sex marriage is a bad policy and negatively affects any society that accepts and encourages its practice.

The Erosion and Destruction of a Nation

Celebrating sins such as pride and homosexuality have a devastating impact on society. People often look at homosexuals with pity and encourage them to "just do you." Scripture is clear, however, that homosexuality is an egregious sin against a holy and righteous God. God does not and will not bless a same-sex union. As the world dances and celebrates its pride in debauchery, my heart grieves over the condition of the souls of the wicked. May the lost of this world find refuge in Jesus Christ and not retreat into their sin for a false sense of security.

The Destruction of the Proud

It is the month of June, which means that "Pride Month" is here. The problem is that pride is a sin that is roundly condemned by God. The Lord hates human pride because we have nothing to boast about outside of Him. It is a sad state of affairs when the world celebrates its pride in sin, debauchery, and rebellion against God. We need to repent of sin, not rejoice in it. Join me as I take a look at the origin of pride and its eternal ramifications.

Whose Image is On You?

Have you ever considered who you belong to? Scripture teaches that since we are created in the image of God that we belong to God. The Pharisees and Herodians tried to entangle Jesus in an unholy word trap, but Jesus turned the tables on them and proved that we belong to the Lord and we should give what belongs to Him. What belongs to Him? You and me.
