The Band Series: Silverada Album: Jerry Reed Explores Guitar Country by Jerry Reed Special Guest: Catlin Rutherford CT&OB met up with Catlin from Silverada (formerly Mike and the Moonpies) on Day 2 in Canyon Lake, TX when they were at Devils Backbone Tavern. We all had a great time the night before on Night 1 of 2 and almost everyone was up late having a great time. In this episode we had another 1st, and a 1st we would have never thought we'd have. We were in our shower room, Catlin in the bathtub and the rest of CT&OB sitting around the tub! We had a get talk with Catlin about this record, learned how family introduced him to Jerry, why he picked this record and how much Jerry had influenced Catllin. We cant thank Catlin enough for coming on to CB&OB for an episode. An extra special thank you to Danielle Mashuda who is a close CT&OB friend, for helping set up and produce this episode! Ep 29- Cry From The Cross by Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys w/ Abe Partridge

Episode 29 Album: Cry From The Cross Artist: Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys Special Guest: Abe Partridge CT&OB was in Pineville, KY for the Laural Cove Music Festival in June. We got to see a bunch of our great friends, see some Amazing artists but also talk with Abe Partridge. CT&OB met up with Abe Partridge at his cabin to learn about his time with Independent Fundamental Baptist Church Bible Colleges, why he picked this album, the difference between different religious music and the information we got to learn about the Ralph Stanley and his band members. Abe was full of knowledge and the CT&OB members could listen to him speak all day about everything he knows. We got to also hear from Abe's wife Cathy who told us about her family's music history. We had such a great time with Abe and Cathy, we can't thank them enough for letting us record in their cabin due to the weather not cooperating with us that morning! GO SUPPORT THIS ARTIST!!! Ep 27- O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Episode 27 Album: O Brother, Where Art Thou? Artist: Multi-Artist CT&OB wanted to try something new and the 3 of us each picked an album, then had you guys pick which you wanted to hear. This album went up against Vince Gill and & Holy Roller; we will be doing those in the near future. CT&OB listened to the soundtrack and watched the movie, well 2/3s of us did. =) The movie is a loose interpretation of the Odyssey by the Coen Brothers. O Brother, Where Art Thou? is a Depression-era adventure about three escaped convicts traveling across Mississippi in search of hidden treasure. The Coen Brothers created this movie loosely inspired by Homer’s Odyssey. We recommend you watching the movie when you get a chance. The O Brother, Where Art Thou? Soundtrack is a mix of bluegrass, gospel, and blues that helps capture the Depression-era feel. This soundtrack has many notable artists that include Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, and of course the Soggy Bottom Boys. These artists helped the soundtrack win many awards from Grammy, CMA, ACM, and international awards. Let us know your favorite song in the comments. GO SUPPORT THE ARTIST ON THIS ALBUM!!! Ep 26- Eleven Winners By Merle Haggard & the Strangers w/ Tyler-James Kelly

Episode 24 Album: Eleven Winners Artist: Merle Haggard and The Strangers  Special Guest: Tyler-James Kelly CT&OB was in Nashville for our Very Good Friend Danielle's Birthday. We got to see a bunch of our great friends, see some Amazing artists but also talk with a few artists on our podcast. CT&OB met up with Tyler-James Kelly after a long night of celebrating our friend Danielle’s “30th” Birthday. Tyler picked the album Eleven Winners by Merle Haggard. We joked that Tyler picked this album because of him being an old soul but honestly this was a great album! We've talked about how the album has songs that have pain and the characters in the songs were not "winners". Tyler told us stories about about Merle that CT&OBs didn't know. We had such a great time with Tyler and hearing him pay that weekend. We cant wait to see Tyler play again and get him on for another episode. GO SUPPORT THESE ARTISTS!!! Ep 25- Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson w/ The Waymores

For this Episode, we suggest you listen to the album 1st prior to listening to this episode. The album itself is 33min with 15 songs, we promise it makes sense with the way we talk about the album in the episode.  Episode 24 Album: Red Headed Stranger Artist: Willie Nelson  Special Guest: The Waymores CT&OB was in Nashville for our Very Good Friend Danielle's Birthday. We got to see a bunch of our great friends, see some Amazing artists but also talk with a few artists on our podcast. CT&OB met up with The Waymores after a long night of celebrating our friend Danielle’s “30th” Birthday. Kira and Willie talked about an album that has a special meaning to them, Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson. We loved that they had so much to tell us about this album and also Willie Nelson history. Although we couldn’t go song for song like we normally do for an episode, we had such great conversation and very better time being with Kira and Willie. Don’t worry we are already talking about another episode with these guys! If you get a chance to see this two, make sure you tip them to hear their jingle for tips! You will truly enjoy it!
