Shortt shared his storm story from traveling Highway 78 yesterday and the guys talked about what it’s like getting caught cutting grass in heavy winds. The Bone, Heath Stroud, checked in with his weekend update, and the crew looked back at a few Heath Highlights from days gone by.

Coach Kris Herron and Mr. Monday, Coach Jerry Weems, got a new month started on Coach & Friends. With it being the first Monday, Dr. Chip East from the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service joined the show as gardening hits its peak season. The conversation centered on tomato problems and the issues many are running into this time of year.

The Barber, David Nolen, joined Coach Kris Herron on this weekend eve. The two covered a foggy morning filled with deer in the road and a run through classic song titles from the American songbook. Mrs. Sheryl Bonner Upchurch stopped by to share memories of the 1976 Bicentennial celebration in Clay County, including a look back at the Freedom Singers, a group Dave was part of.
