Descripción

Join us today as we take a brief detour with Rev. Andrew Sarnicki as we look at Matthew 6:1-4, in his sermon titled, "Secrets of the Heart" Jesus teaches that an act done for human praise may receive earthly recognition, but an act done for God is seen and rewarded by the Father. The passage invites us to examine not just our actions, but the motives behind them. Q1. When I serve or give to others, am I motivated more by God's approval or by the recognition of others? Q2. Are there areas of my spiritual life that have become more about appearance than genuine devotion? Q3. How would my generosity change if no one else ever knew about it? Q4. Do I find satisfaction in being seen as faithful, or in actually being faithful before God? Q5. What does my response to being unnoticed reveal about the true condition of my heart? Exodus 12:29-51 - Finding Jesus in Exodus - "Christ and the Lord's Passover, Part 2"

Join us today as Dr. Becker finishes chapter 12 of Exodus, taking us through the last plague upon the Egyptians. The same night that brought judgment upon Egypt brought deliverance to Israel. God's people left not because of their strength, but because God faithfully acted according to His promise. The chapter invites us to reflect on how we respond to that kind of redeeming grace. Q1. How does God’s deliverance shape the way I view His justice as well as His mercy? Q2. Do I recognize that salvation is entirely God's work, or do I tend to take credit for what only He can accomplish? Q3. When God answers a long-awaited promise, do I pause to worship and give thanks, or quickly move on to the next concern? Q4. What does it mean for me to fully identify with God's people rather than remaining on the edges of commitment? Q5. Does my obedience flow from gratitude for God's redemption, or from a sense of obligation alone? Exodus 12:1-28 - Finding Jesus in Exodus - "Christ and the Lord's Passover, Part 1"

Do I trust God’s provision for salvation, or am I tempted to rely on my own efforts for security? Q2. When God gives clear instructions, do I obey fully, or only in the ways that seem reasonable to me? Q3. How intentionally do I remember and celebrate what God has done for me? Q4. What practices help me pass on the story of God’s faithfulness to the next generation? Q5. Does my life reflect gratitude for God’s redemption, or have I become familiar with it and lost my sense of wonder? Exodus 11 - Finding Jesus in Exodus - "The Final Warning & The Final Judgement"

Join us today as Dr. Becker teaches on Exodus chapter 11, in his sermon titled, " The Final Warning & The Final Judgement" * How do I respond when God’s patience gives me time to change? Do I repent, or assume there will always be another opportunity? * Am I taking God’s warnings seriously, or dismissing them because judgment has not yet come? * Where have I seen God remain faithful to His word, even when fulfillment took longer than expected? * Do I recognize that repeated rejection of God can gradually harden a person's heart and make obedience more difficult? * Am I living in a way that reflects trust in God’s promises, even before I see their fulfillment? Exodus 10 - Finding Jesus in Exodus - "The Locust & the Darkness"

Join us today and Dr. Becker continues our study through the book of Exodus as we read through chapter 10 in his sermon titled, "The Locust & the Darkness" /or/ "The God who Humbles Kings and Harvests Hearts" Exodus 10 asks every person two questions: Q1. What rules your heart? ...what are you unwilling to surrender to God? Q2. Will you humble yourself before the true king? ...Pharaoh hardened his heart repeatedly until darkness consumed him God still exposes our idols today. Often the things we fear losing most reveal what we trust most deeply. Q3. What is it in your heart that you fear losing more than anything else? What does that reveal about you and do you need to reexamine your priorities? Several times during the plagues, Pharaoh told Moses to take his people to go and worship, but he put conditions on it each time, and would harden his heart against them. Q4. Am I offering God full obedience, or trying to negotiate partial surrender while keeping control of certain areas? When the locusts were covering the land, Pharaoh begged Moses to intercede for him before the Lord, admitting that he had sinned. We know that his repentance was half hearted and insincere. Q5. When conviction comes, do I truly repent, or simply seek relief from the consequences? For more information about Concord Presbyterian Church of Gulf Breeze, FL. visit our website at https://concordpres.com
