Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2093758/fan_mail/new] In this episode, I sit down with Paul “Waterboy” Brown for a powerful conversation about faith, service, leadership, and the global water crisis. Mr. Brown shares his life purpose of helping solve the water problem by creating sustainable systems of clean water access, and he explains how that mission has taken him into a walk across the African continent to raise awareness, build local partnerships, and help communities gain permanent water solutions. We start with Mr. Brown's time in the U.S. Army, serving both enlisted and as an officer, and how the military shaped his perspective on planning, leadership, survival needs, and cultural humility. We discuss how easy it is for people from privileged environments to judge poverty, litter, infrastructure, or instability without understanding that many people around the world are focused on basic survival: food, safety, and clean water. I also reflect on my own military perspective, especially the importance of respecting other cultures instead of treating foreign countries like temporary playgrounds. A major theme of this episode is the difference between short-term charity and sustainable impact. Mr. Brown explains why his mission is not simply about handing someone water, but about training local leaders, creating water systems, and empowering communities to maintain and expand those systems for future generations. He also shares how personal hardship, financial loss, real estate, faith, and calling all came together to push him deeper into this mission. We also talk about how simple action can create massive ripple effects. Mr. Brown explains how a single dollar can help provide clean water access through his work, while I emphasize that listeners can also make an impact by sharing the episode, spreading the mission, praying, and reflecting on how God may be calling them to serve. This conversation is a reminder that global connection is not just a nice idea but a responsibility, and many of the world’s biggest problems are more solvable than we think when people choose unity, generosity, and action. https://www.servantleadercharities.org/ Website: https://coupleonukes.com [https://coupleonukes.com/] Exodus, Honor Your Heart, & Nulu Knives: https://www.coupleonukes.com/affiliates/ [https://www.coupleonukes.com/affiliates/] Want to be a guest on Couple O' Nukes? Podcasting Full Time: Catching Up With Noah May & Lethal Venom

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2093758/fan_mail/new] In this reunion episode, I welcome Noah May back to the show to catch up on everything that has changed since his first appearance. Mr. May shares how his podcasting journey has grown over the past year, from hosting Lethal Venom to relaunching Southern Reads and working on Music Talks. He also talks about graduating from Auburn with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and how podcasting unexpectedly became a major part of his professional and creative life. Throughout the conversation, Mr. May and I discuss the real behind-the-scenes work of podcasting: recording hundreds of interviews, managing a massive backlog, dealing with no-shows, navigating guest expectations, and learning when to stop over-editing. We also talk honestly about the strange, funny, and frustrating parts of working with guests, assistants, PR teams, and people who do not always understand the time, energy, and professionalism required to run a podcast well. This episode also explores how podcasting can open doors that creators never expected. Mr. May shares how Southern Reads has brought authors, books, interviews, and new opportunities into his life, while I reflect on how podcasting helped me grow into speaking, comedy, international networking, and global connection. We discuss PodMatch, podcast reviews, guest outreach, episode promotion, and the difference between someone who genuinely wants to share a story and someone who only wants to pitch a product. More than anything, this conversation is a reminder that podcasting does not have to start perfectly to become meaningful. Mr. May’s story shows how a creative side project can turn into a calling, a career path, and a platform for hundreds of voices. https://noahspodcasts.com/ Website: https://coupleonukes.com [https://coupleonukes.com/] Exodus, Honor Your Heart, & Nulu Knives: https://www.coupleonukes.com/affiliates/ [https://www.coupleonukes.com/affiliates/] Want to be a guest on Couple O' Nukes? AI-Generated Worship Music Controversy: Church Council Case Study

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2093758/fan_mail/new] In this solo Radiating Faith episode, I use Acts 15 as the foundation for a modern church controversy: should churches use AI-generated worship music? Acts 15 shows the early church wrestling through disagreement, doctrine, Gentile believers, circumcision, the Law of Moses, and how to reach a faithful decision without destroying the body of Christ. From there, I connect that biblical council model to a fictional church council case study about artificial intelligence, worship songs, sound doctrine, and spiritual discernment. I walk through both sides of the AI worship music debate. On one side, I discuss the concern that true worship must come from the human heart, soul, and spirit before God, not from a soulless machine that can only imitate worship language. On the other side, I explore the argument that AI is simply a tool, and that the worship still comes from the human believer who writes, prompts, sings, and glorifies God through the final song. This episode also looks at the deeper theological responsibility of worship music. Songs do not merely entertain; they teach doctrine, shape memory, influence children, and form the spiritual imagination of the church. I discuss the danger of vague lyrics, shallow prompts, AI hallucinations, false doctrine, and the possibility of technology being used to create worship that sounds Christian without being biblically faithful. I then read the fictional letter of declaration I created for the case study, offering a balanced decision: AI should not generate complete worship lyrics, but it may be used as an assistive tool for instrumentals, vocals, or musical support when the lyrics have already been written by a human believer and reviewed by church leadership. I also address a major concern not fully covered in the assignment: whether AI tools are ethically sourcing material or stealing from artists, musicians, and creators. This conversation is not meant to be a final universal ruling for every church. Instead, it is a call for prayer, discernment, humility, biblical oversight, and honest conversation as Christians navigate artificial intelligence, worship, creativity, technology, and doctrine. Whether someone is pro-AI, anti-AI, or somewhere in the middle, the central question remains: does our worship honor God in spirit, truth, reverence, and sincerity? https://www.coupleonukes.com/radiatingfaith/ Website: https://coupleonukes.com [https://coupleonukes.com/] Exodus, Honor Your Heart, & Nulu Knives: https://www.coupleonukes.com/affiliates/ [https://www.coupleonukes.com/affiliates/] Want to be a guest on Couple O' Nukes? Buried Not Broken: Mia Godfrey’s Journey From Communist Romania To Healing

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2093758/fan_mail/new] In this episode of Couple O’ Nukes, I sit down with Mia Godfrey for a powerful conversation about faith, trauma recovery, addiction, grief, and God’s ability to redeem even the most painful parts of our lives. Mia Godfrey shares her story of growing up as the youngest of ten children in communist Romania, where survival, hardship, poverty, and fear shaped much of her early life. Through her testimony, we discuss what it means to grow up with faith around you, but still have to personally encounter God through pain, healing, and surrender.  Ms. Godfrey opens up about childhood abuse, bullying, violence, and the early alcohol use that became a way to numb trauma before she even understood what addiction was. We talk about the difference between simply knowing Scripture and knowing God personally, as well as the shame, secrecy, and generational pain that often surround addiction and abuse. I also reflect on the phrase “hurt people hurt people,” while highlighting the deeper truth that healed people can help heal people.  We also discuss Ms. Godfrey’s journey to the United States, the loss of her first husband, the passing of her sister, and how those seasons led her toward writing her memoir, Buried Not Broken: A Memoir of Survival, Sisterhood, and Starting Over. Her story shows how writing, counseling, accountability, Christian community, and obedience to God can become part of a long-term healing process. Together, we explore how God can use the very things we once tried to hide as tools to reach people who are still hurting in silence.  Toward the end of the conversation, Ms. Godfrey shares Proverbs 3:5 and discusses her current work as a certified life coach, Bible counselor, EME practitioner, author, and retreat leader. We talk about women’s retreats, purpose, evangelism, and the power of one conversation to plant seeds that only God can grow. https://miagodfrey.com/ Website: https://coupleonukes.com [https://coupleonukes.com/] Exodus, Honor Your Heart, & Nulu Knives: https://www.coupleonukes.com/affiliates/ [https://www.coupleonukes.com/affiliates/] Want to be a guest on Couple O' Nukes? Olivia Rodrigo's The Cure & Obsessed: Vital Biblical Truths About Self-Love & Relationships

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2093758/fan_mail/new] In this solo Radiating Faith sermon, I use Olivia Rodrigo’s songs The Cure and Obsessed (along with reference to her album You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love) as a modern doorway into a deeper Biblical conversation about love, insecurity, sexual shame, mental health, and the search for healing. These songs capture something many people struggle with quietly: the desire for romance to fix what is broken inside us, and the painful obsession that can come from comparison, jealousy, and sexual history in relationships.  I talk honestly about my own experiences trying to “be the cure” in past relationships with women who struggled deeply with anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and insecurity. Through those experiences, I learned that romantic love can comfort someone, but it cannot become The Cure or the antidote, nor the salvation and healing they need. A boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, or wife can bless your life, but they cannot replace Jesus Christ, the Word of God, or the deep healing that comes from knowing you are loved by your Creator.  This sermon also addresses Biblical dating, sexual purity, covenantal love, pornography, social media comparison, and the emotional wounds created when sex is treated casually instead of sacredly. I discuss how Scripture gives us a prevention guide for many of the mental and relational wounds people are carrying today, while also making it clear that this message is not about shame. It is about redemption, accountability, restoration, and becoming a new creation in Christ.  If you have struggled with romantic trauma, sexual regret, jealousy, insecurity, comparison wounds, or the belief that another person can finally make you whole, this episode is for you. Relationships are beautiful when they honor God, but they become dangerous when they become idols. The real cure is not being chosen by another person but rather, it's being rooted in Jesus Christ, renewed by Scripture, and learning to love yourself because God already does.  https://www.coupleonukes.com/books/ https://share.google/iEAaBW7F8Ubw8H9a2 Website: https://coupleonukes.com [https://coupleonukes.com/] Exodus, Honor Your Heart, & Nulu Knives: https://www.coupleonukes.com/affiliates/ [https://www.coupleonukes.com/affiliates/] Want to be a guest on Couple O' Nukes?
