Since 1967, there have been over 10k reports in the US of strange cattle mutilations where animals had been killed and drained of their blood in a way that does not coincide with natural death or predation. For over 50 years, investigators haven't been able to identify the perpetrators of these killings. Reports of UFOs in the areas around the time of the mutilations have fuelled conspiracies.
