Descripción

In this Sunday's sermon, we begin our a series through the book of Job. As an introduction to one of Scripture's most profound books, Interim Pastor Dan Dumas acknowledges a question many people ask: Why do bad things happen to good people? Through Job 1, we begin to see that the answer isn't found in simplistic explanations, but in the character and sovereignty of God. As we lay the foundation for this series, Pastor Dan challenges us to hold fast to our integrity, hold fast to our theology, and hold fast to our worship. Job reminds us that suffering is not always the result of personal sin and that nothing enters our lives apart from God's permission and sovereign hand.

Put Your Yes on the Table | Isaiah 6: 1-8

What happens when an ordinary person encounters the extraordinary holiness of God? In Isaiah 6, the prophet receives a life-changing vision of the Lord seated on His throne, high and lifted up. Confronted by God's greatness, holiness, and grace, Isaiah's response is simple yet powerful: “Here I am! Send me.” In this message, Pastor Kole Thomas walks through three truths that moved Isaiah to surrender his life to God's mission: God is in charge, God is holy, and God is forgiving. When we truly see God for who He is and remember what He has done for us through Christ, the only fitting response is to place our "yes" on the table and be willing to go wherever He calls and do whatever He asks. Join us as we discover what it means to live fully surrendered to God and His purposes.

The New Covenant | Hebrews 8:6-13

What makes the New Covenant better than the Old? In Hebrews 8:6–13, we see that Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant founded on better promises. While the Old Covenant revealed God’s holy standard, it could not change the human heart, provide a perfect priest, or fully remove sin. But through Christ, God accomplishes what the law could never do. In this message, we explore three incredible promises of the New Covenant: God writes His law on our hearts, brings us into a personal relationship with Himself, and provides complete forgiveness through the finished work of Jesus Christ. The tensions and promises of the Old Testament find their fulfillment in Christ, who reconciles sinners to God and gives new life through the power of the Holy Spirit. Join us as we discover how the New Covenant offers forgiveness, transformation, and the assurance that all of God’s promises are ours in Jesus.
