Descripción

In this Daily Devotion for July 29, 2026, Pastor David Balla walks through Psalm 74:19-21, where the psalmist pleads with God not on the basis of his own goodness, but on the strength of a promise God had already made. In the middle of violence and danger, he simply asks God to remember His covenant. That is the heart of this devotion. Rescue never depended on being deserving. It depended on God's faithfulness alone, a pattern that reaches its fullest point in Jesus Christ, who established a new covenant sealed not with the blood of animals but with His own blood, given and shed for you. We do not come to God pointing to our own record. We come appealing to what He has already promised. In Christ, that promise means true grace, forgiveness, and salvation, freely given. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper He still gives us His true body and blood, the seal of that covenant, for the forgiveness of sins. Whatever surrounds you today, you do not need to earn rescue. God has already remembered His covenant in Christ, and He remembers you. Subscribe for weekly sermons and Daily Devotions. Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for July 28, 2026

In this Daily Devotion for July 28, 2026, Pastor David Balla walks through Psalm 74:16-18, where the psalmist looks at creation itself, the day and night, the sun, the seasons, the boundaries of the earth, and finds in it the assurance that God is still in control, even when the world mocks Him. This devotion speaks to anyone unsettled watching the world turn against God, but it points straight to Jesus Christ, the Word through whom all things were made. He set the sun in its place, and when He hung on the cross, darkness covered the land in the middle of the afternoon. Creation marked the moment He bore the weight of sin and death for us. There, true grace, forgiveness, and salvation were won, not by our effort, but through His finished work. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper He still feeds His people with His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. Whatever chaos surrounds you today, remember who holds the day and the night. He has not lost His grip on this world, or on you. Subscribe for weekly sermons and Daily Devotions. This devotion is honest about how heavy life can feel when trouble seems unstoppable, but it points straight to Jesus Christ. He calmed the storm, walked on water, and on the cross faced down sin and death itself, crushing their power once and for all. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper He continues to feed His people with His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for July 26, 2026

In this Daily Devotion for July 26, 2026, Pastor David Balla examines Psalm 74:10-12 and asks the honest, painful question every believer faces: how long will God let evil go unanswered? "My King from of Old" walks through the psalmist's raw complaint before turning to the comfort of who God truly is, a King who has reigned over every trial, past and present. This devotion names our fear and doubt honestly, then points beyond ourselves to the cross, where Jesus endured the very scorn this psalm describes and worked salvation for sinners once and for all. You will hear how God's grace meets us in our weakness, how redemption was accomplished at Calvary, and how the Kingdom of Heaven breaks into our present suffering with real, lasting hope. We also touch on how Christ continues to deliver His forgiveness to His people today, body and blood, in the Lord's Supper, a living reminder that salvation is a present gift, not just a past event. Whatever you are waiting on God to answer, this devotion will anchor you in His unchanging kingship and steadfast love.
