THIS HAS GOT TO CEASE!!

What would happen to your body if you were put on 48 different medications? This is the average number of medications a person takes in an assisted living home in the United States. Hal Cranmer, owner of A Paradise for Parents, and Claud Covaci, CEO of Synkwise, weigh in on the true cost of healthcare. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Welcome, Hal Cranmer and Claud Covaci! 2:00 Hal’s protocol in his assisted living homes 3:48 Dementia in assisted living homes 6:13 The truth about medication vs. food 7:22 Healthcare encourages medication 8:54 Raising awareness 11:15 What do you think about this problem? DATA: https://aparadiseforparents.com/ Please join me in welcoming Hal Cranmer and Claud Covaci! Claud is the CEO of a software company that manages the medications people take in assisted living homes. In a sampling of 100 residents, the average resident is on 48 medications. Some residents were even taking up to 91 medications! This isn’t healthcare. In Hal’s assisted living homes, he implements programs to help people get off their medications. Many of his residents have seen a 50% decrease in medication usage. Hal focuses on diet and doesn't serve ultra-processed foods in his facilities. Dementia is the top problem in assisted living homes and is extremely expensive, costing an average of $800,000 to $1.5 million per person. Hal explains that dementia starts in your 30s and 40s, so it’s a very difficult condition to reverse. Under Hal’s protocol, he has seen improvement, even in people with dementia. The US healthcare system is focused on medicine, not food, but food is the most significant contributor to your health! Medications treat the side effects of junk food consumption, and the side effects of medications are then treated with more medication. The ultimate goal should be to decrease medications, get people off them, and hopefully help them regain independence. The current healthcare model does not support these goals. One record for a single patient shows they’re on medication for high blood pressure, cholesterol, tremors, blood clots, stool softeners, antidepressants, seizures, insulin, schizophrenia, runny nose, nausea, prostate enlargement, and more. This is insane! Failing to address the diet before prescribing these medications misses the root cause of the problems. Skip These 10 Foods (Especially If You Have Diabetes)

If you have diabetes or if diabetes prevention is your goal, avoid these foods at all costs. Your health depends on it! Discover the 10 worst foods for diabetes that you should eliminate from your diet NOW! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] Eliminate ultra-processed foods from your diet now with the FREE Dr. Berg Junk Food Meter App: https://drbrg.co/47sq8MN Apple Download: https://drbrg.co/3KUb6XG Android Download: https://drbrg.co/3KV39RV 0:00 Introduction: Avoid these foods 0:13 Insulin resistance explained 2:30 Seed oils and type 2 diabetes 6:53 Insulin resistance and diabetes 8:16 What not to eat if you have diabetes 12:42 How to detox aldehydes Long before prediabetes and diabetes comes insulin resistance. You can be insulin resistant for 15-20 years before you develop diabetes! Chronic sugar consumption can lead to insulin resistance, but seed oils can be equally problematic. Seed oils cause damage to the cell membranes (which contain insulin receptors) and damage to the mitochondria. There is evidence that unsaturated fatty acids can reduce the risk of diabetes, but this is not the case with rancid, oxidized seed oils. These highly refined seed oils are full of toxic byproducts such as aldehydes, which create irreversible damage in the insulin receptor. The average person consumes 25%-30% of their calories from seed oils. You can have high insulin and normal blood sugar for many years. Over time, this overworks the pancreas, causing the beta cells that produce insulin to become overworked and eventually stop producing insulin, leaving the body without a mechanism to regulate blood sugar levels. Normal blood sugar should be around 80, which is equivalent to a single teaspoon of sugar in the blood, even though the average person consumes 81 to 131 teaspoons of sugar every day! If you have diabetes or you want to avoid it, avoid these foods: 1. Fast food fries and fried chicken 2. Deep-fried restaurant foods 3. Chips/crisps/corn chips 4. Doughnuts and pastries 5. Sweetened drinks 6. Frozen breaded foods 7. Commercial salad dressing and mayo 8. Instant noodles 9. Granola/protein bars and cookies 10. Microwave popcorn To detox aldehydes, consume more of the following nutrients: •Carnosine: grass-fed red meat •Sulfur-rich vegetables: onions, garlic, broccoli •Polyphenols: green tea, dark chocolate, pomegranate Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. Why Do Most Indian Men Carry Abdominal Bulges?!

I have surprising new information about the causes of belly fat that goes beyond eating too many carbs. Watch this fascinating interview with Dr. Roshani Sanghani as we discuss health problems that stem from diet. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: How to lose belly fat 0:14 Welcome, Dr. Roshani Sanghani! 1:17 Health problems and protruding bellies in India 6:28 Shifting perspectives and focusing on diet 10:24 Carbohydrates in the Indian diet 16:00 Starches and carbohydrates 21:38 Vegetarians and protein 27:16 Eggs and cholesterol 29:04 Digestive problems DR. ROSHANI SANGHANI, MD Website: https://reisaanhealth.com/ Watch the Part 1 Here: ▶️   • Why Do Most Indian Men Have a Protruding P... Please join me in welcoming endocrinologist Dr. Roshani Sanghani. Dr. Sanghani explains the different health problems in India, including insulin resistance, diabetes, fatty liver, and protruding bellies. These problems are starting to occur in young children—1 in 3 Indian children have high triglycerides and a fatty liver. Endocrinologists do not focus on carbohydrates triggering insulin while in medical school. Dr. Sanghani tells us that she spent very little time on the lifestyle aspect of disease and much more time learning about prescriptions. Dr. Sanghani explains that endocrinologists prescribe insulin according to the patient's carbohydrate intake. It finally dawned on her that by lowering the patient’s carbohydrate intake, they could lower their insulin. She traveled to India, determined to share this information with her patients. India has been badly affected by low-fat, low-calorie dietary marketing. Dr. Sanghani explains a typical day of eating in the Indian diet consists of snacking, high carbohydrate intake, and very little protein. Many Indians are vegetarian, making it very difficult for them to meet their protein requirements. Many Indian vegetarians are okay with dairy and consume yogurt, milk, and paneer cheese for protein. She also recommends whey protein for her vegetarian patients. Although not a whole food, it’s an ideal way for a vegetarian to increase their protein intake. Some vegetarians are fine with adding eggs to their diet, although some are concerned about dietary cholesterol. There’s no proven link between dietary cholesterol and bad cholesterol in the blood. Tofu and tempeh are also protein options for vegetarians in India. Dr. Sanghani helps her patients learn to read labels and understand the problem with processed grains and starches. She focuses on first increasing protein, then decreasing carbs while increasing salad intake. Some of her patients wear continuous glucose monitors to understand the effects of carbohydrates. --- Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices [https://megaphone.fm/adchoices]

Today I want to share some new interesting information on how to put diabetes in remission. If you fix insulin resistance, you can fix your type 2 diabetes. But, if you have a fatty liver, you can't get rid of insulin resistance. If you have insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, or diabetes, you need to focus on removing fat from your liver. You can develop insulin resistance with less than two percent of the liver being fatty. The good news is that the brain and body love to run on ketones instead of glucose for fuel. It’s crucial to start running your body on ketones to fix insulin resistance and other health concerns. When you decrease your blood glucose, the body starts using ketones. Within six days of running the body on ketones, you can significantly improve the effects of insulin resistance in your liver. The ketogenic diet has been shown to decrease 50 percent of the fat in a person’s liver within two weeks. Key things to start doing right now: 1. Get on the ketogenic diet 2. Consume a moderate amount of protein 3. Consume apple cider vinegar (one to two tablespoons in water) 4. Let your appetite dictate when you eat (eat less frequently) 5. Exercise on a regular basis Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting.
