Making Time for Advent

I was asked to speak at a woman's Christmas dinner.  It was my first time EVER speaking in front of a crowd and I stumbled through it.  While I was asked to speak for 45 minutes, I feel that this message really should have been three separate messages.  1 Making Time for Advent 2 Asking God to Close Doors 3 What we Fill Our Lives With I also think I have the beginnings of praying scripture over yourself as well as some separate stories about football, dogs and carrying too much in our purses. While I stumbled through, it just made me want to share more messages to continue to get better at it.  My heart will always be soft to the women at MRC who let me practice on them. Bless those lovely women.  Friends have asked to hear the message and so a week later, here I am finally recording it for them.
