Being Stalked & Outwitting The Devil

Let's talk about Erotomania and Napoleon Hill's book "Outwitting The Devil"Erotomania, also known as de Clérambault's syndrome, is a rare delusional disorder where an individual holds the unshakeable belief that another person, often of a higher social status or a celebrity, is secretly in love with them. This conviction persists despite a clear lack of evidence and, in many cases, a complete absence of any personal contact. The core of erotomania is this fixed, false belief. The affected person often misinterprets neutral or ambiguous actions from the object of their affection—such as a glance, a gesture, or a social media post—as secret, coded messages of love. They may believe that the other person is the one who initiated the "relationship" and is prevented from openly declaring their love due to external circumstances. This delusion can lead to obsessive behaviours, including persistent attempts to contact the person through letters, emails, gifts, and, in some cases, stalking and harassment. Rejection or denial from the object of their affection is often rationalised as a test of their love or a hidden message of encouragement.
