Big Opportunities to Shift Your Cancer Energy

The Capricorn Full Moon on the 29th of June

The Full Moon in the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn occurs on June 29th at 5:56pm MST is packed with potent astrological transits and pivots we can feel that we need to unpack individually and collectively. With each Full Moon there is a climax facilitated by the Sun and the Moon opposing each other. In this case the Sun at 8 degrees of Cancer and the Moon at 8 degrees of Capricorn. With the plethora of Cancer energy at the moment of the Full Moon, the Capricorn Moon is where we can really ground and stabilize the emotional overwhelm on this day. If you intentionally lean into the strategic Capricorn Moon you won’t drop the ball on the things you need to prioritize as we move through this Full Moon portal to allow for a more peaceful transition as that enormous Juptiter prepares for its ingress into Leo as most of us are asleep on late evening of June 29th. The first major shift to occur on this powerhouse day of June 29th that ushers us into the exact moment of the Full Moon is the messenger planet Mercury in the same sign as the Sun: Cancer stations retrograde at 26 degrees of the sign set to travel backwards to 16 degrees of Cancer before going direct on July 23rd. The planet Jupiter that has been in the sign of Cancer for 13 months traversing through the same area of our lives that Mercury is inviting us to review and reconsider- is on this same evening, leaving the sign of Cancer and entering into the fixed fire of Leo to expand what lights us up and ignites the creative, passionate fire within our hearts for the next year. At the exact moment of the Full Moon, Mercury retrograde in Cancer is conjunct Jupiter at the anaretic degree of Cancer at 29 degrees ready to enter Leo in just a few hours. This conjunction with Jupiter right before it changes signs points at the enormous potential for expansion this particular mercury retrograde has. It’s a moment in time that stamps the beginning point of the mercury retrograde period with ‘serious business’ and not to be taken lightly. Mercury rx in cancer square Eris in Aries Mercury retrograde in Cancer is in a square or point of tension of Eris in Aries which means that whatever mercury retrograde is having us review within our emotional world there is another part of us that is struggling to feel like who we are will ever be embraced in a way that feels like we can allow all parts of us to exist even the messy emotional parts. Mars in Gemini sextile Jupiter in Cancer going into Leo Mars has just entered the mutable air sign of Gemini which makes our planet of motivation and action a bit more distracted with doing every damn thing instead of just the things that contribute to your grounded stability which was what Mars has been doing in Taurus up until now. Mars in Gemini is a great researcher and can gather a lot of information and engage in a very active social life we just have to be careful now to do every single thing with no real rhyme or reason to doing them. This Mars in Gemini is forming a sextile or opportunity aspect to Jupiter in Cancer about to go into Leo which if we focus on it-it could support us in making contacts and aligning with the right conversations that can invite us bring all parts of ourselves to the table and create what is in our hearts confidently and passionately and fully supported. Jupiter going from Cancer to Leo square Chiron in Taurus at 0 degrees As soon as Jupiter enters Leo, just hours after the Full Moon is exact it makes an exact square to Chiron in Taurus at zero degrees. This supports the sextile we just discussed between Mars in Gemini and Jupiter in Cancer/Leo because Mars just made his way through Taurus this Chiron is meant to bring up the important questions that Mars in Gemini asking like how can I do my creative work in a sustainable way? Uranus-Mars Conjunction in Gemini Uranus-our planet of sacred disruption has also been in Gemini since April 25th and is now at 3 degrees of Gemini and will come together with our go-getter planet Mars in Gemini. Their exact conjunction will occur on July 3rd but can be felt at the Full Moon and will build in intensity leading to the exact conjunction and then come down in intensity the days following the exact conjunction. These two planets are both intense- with one (Mars) being a personal planet, it will be highly influenced by Uranus being the higher octave of Mars and an outer planet. Mars is our personal drive and motivation to move forward and Uranus is the collective, futuristic drive to shake things up so that progress can be made towards the future and often shows up abruptly. In Gemini these two planets coming together at the same degree point there can be shocking information being suddenly revealed, sudden breakthroughs or developments with ripple effects that relate to Gemini themes such as communications, everyday environments, siblings, school, and duality. Uranus sextile Neptune At the Full Moon Uranus in Gemini is forming a sextile or opportunity aspect with planet Netpune in the sign of Aries. Uranus wants to disrupt what doesn’t align with the future and Neptune wants to subtly dissolve what needs to end on a soul contract level. These two offer each other a chance to lend a helping hand in facilitating the endings that are calling us forward. Uranus trine Pluto Uranus in Gemini is forming a trine or supportive aspect to Pluto in Aquarius at the Full Moon as well. These two outer planets trining each other is very positive for moving the needle forward on collective change. Air signs trining each other are like huge information sharing events where there’s a thin line between TMI and just enough information to have an epiphany that could be a gust of wind strong enough to get us to turn a corner collectively. Uranus and Pluto are together are even more powerful that Uranus and Mars because they are both outer planets that stay in signs for significant amounts of time in order to create changes that are permanent. Neptune sextile Pluto Neptune is a soft, ethereal outer planet that is also extremely powerful at creating smoke and mirrors for us to be led down a path that is right for us without us even realizing it. It has to fool us into doing what we need that is sometimes not what we want at the time. In Aries, Neptune is powerful because it is given initiation energy to light the match on a dream that we were convinced couldn’t happen. Neptune does it’s illusion dance and we find ourselves exactly where we need to be and in an opportunity (sextile) aspect with Pluto in Aquarius we get to choose to open our eyes and see the shadowy parts of ourselves within the collective group that have been driving the bus of our lives and we get to choose to step out of the shadow, acknowledge the smoke and the mirrors and see allow ourselves to be guided down the path of the Soul. Chiron in Taurus opposite Haumea in Scorpio Chiron has just recently entered Taurus on June 19th and is bringing our awareness to where we don’t have the stability we do crave in our lives. Haumea represents the Hawaiian Goddess of Fertility and Scorpio connects us with death and rebirth cycles. These two asteroid points opposing each other at the Full Moon symbolize our innate ability to tend our inner garden. To do the necessary inner work to allow old patterns to die to create the ones that create a solid enough foundation for us to grow from. Saturn in Aries trines Venus in Leo At the Full Moon: Venus in Leo at 19 degrees coming out of a trine with Saturn in Aries now at 14 degrees still supporting each other in allowing our heart felt creativity to flow from a place of sustainability. A fire trine can really move something forward and with Saturn involved there is grounded energy to see creative projects through. The Sagittarius Full Moon Guided Meditation & Energy Healing Video

The Sun connects us with the present moment and the Moon connects us with the past-or our emotional experiences that have brought us to how we feel about this current situation the Sun is directing our attention to. The Sun in Gemini is very “look over here, look at this new information I have discovered”. The Moon in Sagittarius is very “look over here at my long-held beliefs that I am very certain of” The Sun and the Moon in opposition in these signs begs us to question our long-held beliefs and the stories they have created in our minds and our realities. During this Full Moon we are meant to stop and look around at the experience we are having and how that experience pokes holes in the belief system we have been living in. The Sun in Gemini conjunct Uranus, Ceres & Sedna Gemini In my recent article: A Gemini Season Like No Other, I spoke of the major impact of Uranus going into Gemini on April 25th and how it’s creating a very unique and potent Gemini Season. This Full Moon is a great example of that. Uranus is 7 degrees away from the Sun in Gemini opposition the Full Moon. Since Uranus is an outer planet it packs a bigger punch than the personal planets: (Sun + Moon) and is powerful enough to infuse both of these planets with it’s lightning bolt divine insight and essentially move the needle for all of us in terms of releasing attachments to old belief systems and re-writing a new narrative that will pave the way forward into the future that looks nothing like the past. The Asteroid Goddess Ceres is conjunct and working directly with Uranus in Gemini infusing him with her nurturing energy and helping us understand how to allow ourselves to be nurtured by new information. The Asteroid Goddess Sedna is also conjunct and working directly with Ceres and Uranus during this Full Moon. Sedna is helping us reveal the parts of our own stories that we have been victim to and ultimately helping us heal and by reclaiming the narrative. The Sun in Gemini Sextile Saturn in Aries Saturn in Aries represents boundaries with self assertion which offers the Sun in Gemini an opportunity to pause and assess if he actually has the energy for another social interaction just now. Saturn in Aries wants to support the Sun in Gemini with a process that will support the longevity of his stamina. Saturn in Aries wants to know if the Sun in Gemini has practiced any nervous system regulation today. This is a question we all must ask ourselves this weekend as we navigate the energy of the Full Moon. It’s important to note that Saturn in Aries is also conjunct Asteroid Goddesses Pallas Athene & Vesta in Aries creating this BOSS FEMME archetypal energy that is offering the Sun in Gemini much wisdom and supportive energy to preserve his energy. Pallas Athene is infusing these planets with her independent feminine spirit, and Vesta is asking us within this abundance of Gemini energy where distraction is readily available-what are we willing to devote ourselves to because it lights us up from within that much? Let’s not forget that the ultimate feminine energy of the planet Venus in the very personal emotional sign of Cancer is still squaring that Saturn in Aries creating tension between our ability to tend to our inner emotional world and our ability to practice boundaries with our self-assertion to stay the course of what has staying power in our lives. The Full Moon in Sagittarius Trining Saturn in Aries Saturn in Aries is one very active planet during this Full Moon because it is also no big deal- TRINING the Full Moon in Sagittarius. There is a lot of support coming from Saturn in Aries (+his boss femme entourage) in hopes that we get the memo this Full Moon is sending out: Go higher with your perspective and allow your mind to be re-birthed so that you can be better equipped to lead the way up the mountain that Saturn in Aries has chosen for you. Mercury in Gemini Sextile Chiron in Aries Mercury in Gemini is at a much higher degree point than the rest of the Gemini planets and points creating a sextile with Chiron in Aries. Mercury is highly functioning in their home sign of Gemini and has been busy keeping us busy these last few weeks and now has an opportunity to interact with Chiron in Aries representing a personal wound. It’s a call to slow down enough to ask yourself what all of this new information that has come through Gemini Season means for you and being honest with yourself about who you are now. Jupiter in Cancer Square Eris in Aries The planet with benefits-Jupiter has been stirring up your personal emotional world and offering you a better understanding of where you have come from that has landed you where you are. Eris in Aries brings up heightened frustrations around the parts of life where your experience is different from others and Jupiter and Cancer is holding the silver lining banner attempting to empower your own experience by seeing the golden nuggets that is has provided you in whatever form they appear in your life. Uranus in Gemini Sextile Neptune in Aries Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries have an exchange during the Full Moon that should be consciously noticed.
