We will release episodes once a week. We invite you to join us on this journey. Thanks you again and don’t hesitate to send us topics you’d like covered. Have the best day! Also during this episode, Maile gets attacked by a decorative elk, Chef brings us delicious snowballs and Dario is back for a bit. The team: Micheala, Dario, Kurt and Maile discuss traditions and memories. Episode 13: Dario is back?

...Dario is back...and then he isn't. Oh, wait, he is. We are so excited in this episode that Dario is back, at least for a bit. We may have cashed in on a lunch with the team to start recording this podcast because Dario was at the table and we were excited about the idea of having him back. This is recorded during lunch so you'll hear some background you don't normally. But hey, did we say that Dario is back? Dario shares his thoughts on music, movies and more. He also shares about his new gig as the Deal of the Week reporter for the YouTube Sensation, The NoCo Show. It's exciting to hear about Dario and his adventures. He also share this weeks, Deal of the Week. Beyond that we learn about Kurt's "fear" or "refusal" to seek out new music. We all discuss what 4 movies we'd want to have with us if we were stranded on a dessert island. There are a number of great nuggets in the silly episode for you to enjoy along with learning all the reason why you should follow the NoCo show. Enjoy! Episode 12: Discussing Workforce, Unemployment and More with Jakob Loee

In today's episode, we have another international guest, Jakob Loe, from Norway. We discuss a number of musings including the origin of 1,000 Island Dressing, uncles name Lars and polar bears. Jakob was actually at The Leadership Center to job shadow Kurt. With that in mind, we actually spend most of the episode discussing all things employment. Jakob shares insight about employment in Norway and we compare things. We also discuss what we are looking at for employees, challeges employers are facing and unemployment. During this podcast, we preface a blog Kurt wrote so here is a link for that: http://tlcaurora.org/2018/10/the-job-market-and-what-we-are-doing-at-tlc/ One other resource we mention is the current book, the TLC Core Team is currently reading in book club called "Leaders Eat Last" by Simon Sinek. It's a good read and we highly suggest it. We hope you enjoy our podcast and if you haven't al ready, we are on Itunes, Soundcloud, TuneIn and Stitcher. Have the best day! -Hospitalityc Authority

Episode 11: For Fun's Sake, Lets call this Season 2....

...and we are back after a bit of a break from the podcast waves. With a busy summer and kicking off an awesome fall, the Hospitalityc Authority has been busy doing thier day job of serving amazing guests from all over the world. With that said, it's great to be back recording. Today's episode features Kurt, Maile & Micheala. They discuss all kinds of things but the meat of the episode is spent on judgment and how we deal with it. We also have a suprise pop-in guest, Chef John. While we tend to be light hearted and we are, during this episode we get serious about judgement, how it impacts who we are and how we see the world, but also how it impacts our work in the hospitality business. Have a listen and have a great day! PS We see that the picture says Episode 10. Because we are human, we make mistakes from time to time. Alexander Pope once said, "To err is human." So there you have it.
