Launching this fall, the Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition [https://www.unthealth.edu/college-of-health-professions/ms-in-clinical-nutrition-starting-fall.html] at UNT Health Fort Worth offers a new opportunity for students ready to advance their careers in nutrition and healthcare. Designed as a flexible, seamless pathway toward becoming a registered dietitian nutritionist, the MSCN prepares graduates for clinical and health‑focused careers. In this episode of Inside UNT Health, we’re joined by Dr. Christina Liew‑Newville, program director of the MSCN, who explains why now is the right time to pursue an advanced degree in clinical nutrition, who should apply, and what students can expect as members of the inaugural cohort. Stuffed with Support: SARC’s Mission to Uplift UNT Health Students

In this episode of Inside UNT Health, we sit down with Dr. Teresa McKinney, Ed.D., Director of the Student Assistance Resource Center (SARC), and Ella Harris, M.Ed., Student Services Specialist, to explore the heart of student support at UNT Health Science Center. They share how SARC works to meet students’ basic needs, build community, and ensure that no student faces challenges alone. We dive into their upcoming “Stuff with SARC” event on November 19th from 11 AM–3 PM in IREB 100, where students can connect with resources, support services, and take home essentials. Dr. McKinney and Ms. Harris also spotlight the ongoing SARCS Giving Food Drive, running November 1–18 at the UNT Health Student Service Center, room 211, and explain how every donation directly impacts student well-being.
