BIO: I’ve 20+ years in the funds industry, starting out in Fund Accounting many years ago and switching across to my current role in Depositary in 2016. Simply put, the role of the Depositary centres on protecting the interests of the shareholders. We are a separate legal entity within BNY Mellon so operate independently of the Administration side of the business. My own role is client-facing, so we deal with client queries, attend board meetings to present our findings for a given period among other things!
