Today we are mostly discussing The Druid'sDescendant, which is book 1 of her Moonstone Trilogy. In the Druid'sDescendant, her narrator, Selene Stone, is able to see demons andother malevolent entities. Initially hospitalized and put onanti-psychotics, the story begins with her release as a young woman,trying to navigate the world, while realizing it might all have beenreal. Alex Tilley writes fiction that wanders the borderlands between folk horror, magical realism, dark fantasy, and the psychological.
